If he has been found in the Rochdale perimeter the number to contact is 0845 121 2971 and they only work Monday to Friday.

If found in Rossendale they only give out the Animal Wardens number and work 7 days a week. It does say any found dog will be taken to Aspen Valley Kennels in Accrington 01254 233702.

Right on the border of Rochdale and Rossendale Councils. Rossendale us the Animal Wardens service as they don't have a dedicated dog warden. The Animal Wardens will not give out finders details, only deliver the dog back to the owner or inform them which kennels they have been taken to.

The dog warden would not give out the finders phone number to the owner. Just told them to contact the council on Monday morning.
