Hi
I would ring the main dog lost number above if you need to speak with someone urgently. I think there is a main office. I am sure your regional coordinater will be more than helpful as they will probably pass a message on xLast edited: 2014-03-14 21:33:10 by mayjul

Could our regional coordinator please ring us ASAP please?
beckyholt-x
We have been in touch with the lady. How do we get in touch with you at doglost?
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Soks is still missing and his owners have not been able to track down the lady who was on holiday in Norfolk although they understand that her holiday should now have finished and she should have returned home.
They are continuing to try and locate her and Soks locally .
I will nominate Soks for our advertisement in the Countrymans Weekly.
Hoping for news of him very soon x
Ruby
Debbie I saw it but I think she meant she bumped into a lady who had found a dog (not the same lady or dog). The point she was making was that the RSPCA are giving out the wrong advice to everyone
Debbie
ive also read this on fb that a lady was out walking & bumped into another lady who's found this dog, & rspca told her to look after for two weeks, i will find the post & inform x
Sarah
Also suggest sending posters to vets in the area where the lady lives in case she takes him him to get checked over or to register him etc. Some vets have fb pages of course as well. Really hope you get him back soon. So upsetting for you. At least he appears to be being cared for meanwhile.
beckyholt-x
I have put a post on pets located I will try the Facebook sites suggested, thank you x
Sarah
Becky, have you registered Soks as Lost on the Petlocated site? If you register him as lost on there, the Petslocated will do the match and should get in contact with the finder. Or have you already done this?
Scrappy2010
Can i make a suggestion please. Why not contact the local paper and ask them to do a piece on this, with the photo. Someone will know who the lady that found him is. Also post on any FB Doncaster related site. "Pets for sale in Doncaster".There are loads of sites on FB that you can add to. There is a "Spotted Doncaster" page on FB that i have added to also. Good luck, i really hope you will be reunited soon. x

Becky I so hope you and the finder can make contact. Hang in there he is nearly home. Would local radio be worth a try, maybe the local paper too? The finder has really tried to find you and you Soks, I do so hope you can make contact soon x
Alicat
Ah OK, sorry. This dog was in the 'dog found' section rather than 'dog lost'. You may be able to see more information than me though as I'm not registered on there. Sorry again, Ali xx

Hello,

I have put a post on Petslocated.com but so far no possible matches. Thank you everyone for your help so far, I'm hoping to have Soks home soon :-) x
A Wallington
Hi. Alison here who saw the dog yesterday. I have spoken to Becky and am currently updating my Halo and will try to locate the lady again and scan the dog (who she called Chip). I think it is too much of a coincidence for this not to be Sox. The lady was lovely, the dog was being well cared for and was very happy so he is safe. I will do my best to put them in touch. Unfortunately, the lady did not remember her mobile number and would not give out her home number so I left my contact details with her so one way or another I hope we can get in contact. The lady (her name was Alison too!) said that she had registered it on the RSPCA site which I assumed was PetsLocated.co.uk. I have had a look on there but the system is not very user friendly. I have registered Sox ad being found yesterday but as yet it wont let me see any matches. Perhaps if Becky goes on and registers him on that site she may have better luck? Ill do my best x

Soks is not reunited as of yet. This comment (From owner) taken from the post on Facebook

We are still a long way off being reunited. The lady who has Soks was on holiday in Norfolk and Alison has no contact details for them but know where they were staying so hopefully I will be in contact with them soon.

Will move back to lost until confirmed he is home
