**** Bonnie is home ***** following up on further advice from Spindle I text Lynn, this was the reply...
'Do not worry, she is home. I took the two other dogs as usual for their afternoon walk in the woods, pulled into parking area and she was there. Went walking and she followed us about and was off about with Ollie. I was giving her treats on the way round and when I got back to the car, opened the boot and she just jumped in!!!! I couldn't believe it, talk about shocked. Still in shock now after collecting her basket and taking notices down. Back home and she is still wary of me but I can tell she is happy to be home.'
Lynn sends her heartfelt thanks to all who helped her with her search for Bonnie. That goes from me too. Thank you all so very much. Welcome home Bonnie clever girl.
Lilybear
Lynn saw Bonnie, however she was not interested in any food. Calling at the nearby lodge she discovered they had left a cage with food and water, with every good intent. Lynn has explained her plan of action so will start again tomorrow hoping Bonnie is hungry when she shows. Bonnie looked 'healthy and bonnie', Lynn fears she is starting to enjoy her freedom. She will remain focused and follow on with the advice, tasty treats etc. Thank you for your support.
Lilybear
Thanks Imoore, have not heard anything yet, am just praying no news is good news..... please let it be so.
lmoore - Area Volunteer, Wiltshire
Lynn do you normally gi in the car when you take her out for her walk or is she used to going in yourcar, if so is it possible to park the car near to where you feed her and leave the door open with some food in it while you encourage out for food. She may see the car and the open door and go for it. Just a thought but I have caught dogs that way myself but only if they are used to a car. Also when you are sitting down and feeding her try pretending to call Ollie and sound excited as if he is just out of sight and you are calling him in. This may just make her relax enough to allow you to touch her Dont say her name in fact try to ignore her but at the same time giving her food and pretend to call to Ollie.Dont have Ollie with you for this as sometimes another dog there will put them off but hopefully she will be nosy enough to be interested in what you are doing and forget to be a scaredy cat.

Ive just sent you scenting and plotting info Lilybear. You are doing a tremendous job here,
Wookie's Mum (HLC)
Good luck, you are so close, fingers & everything crossed. From a fellow mini schnauzer owner, if having another mini would help please let me know, I can come over with Wookie in an afternoon ? We're about 25-30 miles away.
Lilybear
Bonnie is not used to a crate, as far as Lynn knows is not crate trained but she has lots of clothing, bedding with owners scent on standby. Will make make some enquiries re a trap. Well done Lynn - you are doing so well.
Lilybear
Very big thanks to Mollychops and Spindle. Have taken on all the good advice which I have fed back to Lynn. So tomorrow Lynn will continue dog walks in area. Bonnie lives with Ollie, so Ollie continues scenting woods. Then returning late afternoon, early evening with liver cake and some irresistible chicken/meat. Spindle, Lynn is very focused, will be practicing techniques at home, Ollie is a lively spaniel. Lynn has received calls of sightings during the morning within 1/4 mile of feeding area. She will be going with marker pen to update posters with Please Do Not Chase. Need to keep Bonnie in her safe place now.
Lilybear
Another sighting this evening.. Within the last hour Bonnie has shown herself in same place.. she looked scruffy, dirty and a bit thinner. This is Lynn's text 'successful feeding, she took longer to come this time and was wary when I was ripping off chicken from one hand to the other. She soon got used to that and when the chicken was all gone I gave her the large bone, (no small bones) and she ran off with it. Same tomorrow?'.... Any thoughts? So close now...
Lilybear
Thanks for bumping Shereen, Wendy, Lynn would be grateful for any help, even a phone call just to chat things over, she says it helps to know people care, that's she's not alone.
Lilybear
Mollychops, thanks for your message. Hoping for news of a sighting this evening.
Mollychops
Will text you to help Lilybear

i have been following this story daily and am heartened that Bonnie is still being 'sighted'. I finish work on Thursday and if not back with Lynne by then will happily join Lynne in the afternoons/evenings. I live in Eastleigh but could drive over and meet up for extra support etc
Lilybear
Have just come off phone with Lynn. Bonnie has again been seen this evening looking disheveled and dirty but ok, very, very nervous. She came to Lynn and ate out of her hand but the slightest move and she was off. Lynn is not trying to catch her, just trying to build up her trust.
Bonnie has been * sighted * in the same area now on Sunday by different people and around ** 4pm and 7pm today **– woodland off of the Old Shaftesbury Drove – Hare Warren. She is in an area that is private – not a regular route for dogwalkers. Lynn has established contact with nearby private cottage and has permission to be there. The cottage does not have a secure garden, there are dogs there.
Lynn has not been using a bbq, but has been leaving fish, scenting area best she can, has tonight left Bonnies basket in last place she was last seen.
I would welcome any advice please. Lynn has the help of one friend who comes along after work to help. I am thinking we need a trap? Sadly I am not local to area. Apart from the trap has anyone any suggestions as to the way forward. I have again encouraged cooking up tasty smells, taking chicken etc. Do you think Bonnie has now established her safe area? The local residents are keeping an eye out for Bonnie.
Lynn appreciates it may take a little while – she is asthmatic and suffering, getting an early night so as to get on tomorrow. Still with no internet but always with phone. Thank you.

lmoore - Area Volunteer, Wiltshire
Come on Bonnie you have had your fun and its going to be cold tonight. Give in and let them catch you so you can go home to a nice warm bed and a meal.
Lilybear
** sighting this evening ** just had a text from Lynn. Two sightings this evening. I believe in same area Hare Warren but yet to confirm. Lynn there now with 'owners dirty clothes, her basket and some food'... have been giving all the advice I can but I've still so much to learn. Sam of K9 dogs has been in contact monitoring Bonnie.. so kind.. please Bonnie... time to come home now.
sallybee
Come on Bonnie - we're all rooting and tooting you get back home safely. Hope the good news won't be long now. Paws crossed my end xx
Lilybear
Sadly no news, lady working so hard.. hoping she has more sightings today.
Lilybear
I spoke with lady at approx 1.30pm, she and friend were at a track btwn Hare Warren & Salisbury Race course in response to an earlier sighting of Bonnie when they * sighted her * they had Bonnie almost eating out of their hands when passing off road mcys spooked her and she ran off. They were looking to remain in area where Bonnie last sighted them, keeping low, quiet, smelly yummy food, scenting etc.... sadly I’ve not been able to share any advice sheets as no email. They hope to source a disposable bbq from somewhere.

Lady has a friend helping with search & DL posters, speaking with farmers etc as they go. Last sighting at Bishopstone Friday evening by Cat87. Lady thinks Bonnie maybe heading towards Martin SP6 where she lived for 2yrs before moving to her new home 5 weeks ago so has put posters at Martin also. Will be walking woods to the left of Martin and the downs at the back as areas Bonnie knows well taking with her three familiar dogs. Bonnie is chipped, the vets/chip co updated.
Cat87
Looked again at around 5.00pm and still no new sightings. She may have ventured away from the roads and across country due to the number of cars around causing her to get more spooked.
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
tx...bumped due to sighting.
Cat87
Got some posters printed off and one in rear window of the car. Will put them up in area she was last seen as soon as i've waterproofed them.
Lilybear
Thanks v much Cat87. I rang the lady soon after your call, she wasn't far away, I think was going to pop into the pub you mentioned to leave her details. Have encouraged lady to find a friend with a computer to get posters printed & circulated asap. Lady uncertain as to chip details but is contacting vet. Owner is abroad.
Cat87
The previous report is slightly off. Bonnie was seen at approx 7.40pm running with flow of traffic towards salisbury racecourse away from stratford tony and then she was seen again at 8.40pm at Bishopstone, SP5 in the road and on private driveways to the houses on the right as you enter bishopstone from the racecourse direction. Lost sight of her at the driveway of the first property on the right. Searched again when I finished work at 10.00pm until 11.40pm and went as far as broadchalke (the pub), hommington junction (not far from the hospital), stratford tony, coombe bissett, as far out as the Rockbourne junction with the A354 (near the dog warden), shaftesbury drove, through the woods and back to racecourse and Bishopstone itself but were unable to find any sign of her. If she's still missing by the morning will go out again then.
Lilybear
** Bonnie has been sighted ** running in road. At 7.40pm seen running with flow of traffic towards Stratford Tony. At 8.40pm seen at Bishopstone, SP5 in road and on private driveways of Manor Farm Cottages on the left. I have updated the loser who is in area now. (there is a pub not too far away, The White Hart, SP54AA)

I have spoken with lady briefly but sadly unable to help as at work. Bonnie has been missing since approx 3pm lost on a walk between Hare Warren and Salisbury Racecourse (SP28PN). Bonnie is light grey/white wearing a blue knitted coat. The lady is a pet sitter whilst owner away on holiday, has no access to the internet at Salisbury address or on mobile. Lady had been walking with other dogs that are home safe. Police are aware, DW being contacted. Lady is quite distraught should anyone local be kind enough to make contact to offer advice, help with posters. Thank you.
Freetherich
I am often in that area, will be looking out for Bonnie and I'll get poster up at work(deliveries in salisbury area) asap. Best of luck to you.
overthrown
Have added her DL poster to Missing Teddy's facebook page. Is she microchipped and is she docked?
