Alerts sent to helpers in OX7,15.
Gino
He is the father of Ned, (on first email sent) but has now been neutered.
the two dogs went missing together the day that the Cornbury Festival was opening. They did occasionally escape, but would always return within an hour or so. Robbie sometimes was more difficult to find and catch, but would always return home eventually. Both dogs are well-known in the village. There were a couple of sightings of them in the morning that day, (notably by the gamekeeping staff) but then no more, in spite of us alerting the whole security team at the Festival. Dogs were not allowed on site, so they were on the look-out the whole weekend, but there were no further sightings. It's unlikely that the two dogs would have stuck together for long, and our assumption has been that someone just took them home. Robbie is less friendly than Ned, so less likely to have simply jumped into someone's car.
Obviously, our hopes of finding either of them are slender after all these weeks, but any information you could find would be incredibly gratefully received. We also reported their loss to the Cherwell Dog Warden in Banbury, as dogs don't recognise local authority boundaries, but we've had no news from that direction either
