Clare
Hi Den Have you put an ad in your local paper. A lot of people arent online but read the paper so it may just jog someones memory or make them think about a new dog thats just arrived nearby. Courtney is absolutely right they cant hide her for ever. Just keep postering everywhere. Try and focus on the positives that shes chipped and you have lots of lovely people on here looking for her. x
Courtney
Hi den
I live in greenfield so will keep my eyes open.... One thing you need to remember is that whoever has her can't hide her forever... They've got to walk her and chances are if you flood the area with posters someone will recognise her and hopefully report it to you... Fingers crossed
den123
Hi Claire Im trying to keep positive but you see things about puppy farms and hear horror stories.she was a pedigree £650 dog and her puppies must be worth the same.really worried someone has taken her for that reason as there are hundreds around UK.worst nightmare ever!Last edited: 2013-10-08 20:30:56 by den123
Clare
Den dont waste your energy hating whoever has her, you need it all to concentrate on getting her back. Please please try and hold onto the fact that she is chipped and there have been so many little ones reunited in the past few weeks after weeks or months. I know it must be so hard to stay positive but dont give up. She must be somewhere and it only takes one person to see a poster or a post somewhere to put two and two together. Hoping and praying for you to be in blue soon x
den123
Its been 17 days and not one bit of information to do with Ede.i thinks she's been taken farther afield as no one has seen or heard anything suspicious.i hope the person who took her has the worst possible life! I wish all the worst luck in the world on you.we all feel like we've lost a part of the family!!! So sad x
Clare
If they took them it would suggest to me they took them for a reason. If they were claiming a reward they would have to get someone else to do it now as youve seen them. Stay positive x
den123
hi Clare they took them down and took them with but were laughing as they did it. this was at 9.45pm yesterday night so if they were going to claim reward they would of I think this morning.why would you bother taking them down? very odd. thanks for keep looking Clare, were looking on all sites for selling dogs and dog wardens etc.someone somewhere must know something however small.
Clare
Hi den123 did they take down the poster and take it with them or just tear it down cause if they took it with them maybe they will claim the reward. Why else would they bother. I keep looking on all the sites for any sight of Ede and checking for updates. Fingers crossed for you x
den123
Hi there Beninon think it was 02 Reg Peugeot 106 orange colour 4 people in car one about 25-35 with beard quite stocky(driver).it was very dark though but will keep look out as sure they live nearby. I will update details if I see them again.thanks for all your help really really appreciate it. I've been sniffing around sholver and right near me but nothing.someone must no something.just hoping they see reward money and pretend they found it.

doesnt look too similar but thought i would put link on at is salford pretty close
Benion123
can you give a description of the car and the people? My friend is an ex copper and I am going to see if there is anyway to try and get details of who these people are for the general public. If that fails I can start sniffing around Oldham to see if anyone up there knows them.
den123

Shared Ede again, please dont give up, poster and leaflet everywhere, someone will know where she is, you just need to make her too hot to handle!
Fingers and paws crossed she is home safe very soon :-) x
den123
thanks Clare. We are trying to keep positive but so hard too. Were worried as she is so small and vulnerable like a puppy plus she cost a lot of money so just think she will be sold on or kept as a pet. I just cant see a good outcome but trying hard too. Thanks for all your help Clare and everyone else looking and spreading the word.
Clare
Please dont give up yet. Its very early days although i know it must feel like forever. Look at the reunited section and see how many dogs lost and stolen are found safe and well weeks even months later.Being microchipped you have a hundred times more chance of getting her back.Someone may buy her in good faith and get her scanned at a vets. Keep postering and checking all the for sale sites and dog wardens. You have the best support on here i.e hundreds of extra eyes and ears. Really hope she is found soon. x
den123
NO SIGN. 75 posters up and nothing. Ede must be sat in someone's house or in a different town. What cruel people we have in our society. I really hope these people who took her have the most terrible lives. All the family floored by this we've had her for 2 and a half years since she was 10 weeks old.soooo sad
den123
false alarm elderly small Yorkshire terrier found in sholver couple of miles from us. thanks for woman who rang. everyone keep looking and thanks
Clare
Try to stay positive. Its great that she is microchipped. Keep checking all the sites with dogs for sale incase shes being sold on. Keep postering everywhere. Give a poster to your postman and ask him to put one in the main sorting office and also your local taxi firm. Dont give up. Good luck x
den123
Posters up in 20 locations around Oldham including shops, pubs and supermarkets and been to dog homes with no luck. thanks for everyone helping. Were very down at moment as all hope seems to be gone. She was stolen so very unlikely we get her back :(Last edited: 2013-09-22 15:39:30 by den123

Sorry to see that EDE STOLEN is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (57555)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
