Firstly, thank you to everybody for their help and assistance, which is very much appreciated. Freddie was found at about 9pm, and is now home, safe and well; even better after eating a huge meal! He'd evidently set up home for the night, in a hedgerow, when he was sniffed out by the finder's dog; location was about half way between Tangier Farm and Priory Park.

We've been out this evening and no sign, Tangier lane is surrounded by farmland with lots of footpaths but not much used at this time of the year because of the cattle in the fields, we'll go out that way again tomorrow morning, fingers crossed he goes home on his own before then, if this the dog I think it is he only lives a short distance away !
