What cruel people we have in our society. There's no thought to how this callous act affects us animal lovers who take great pride in looking after animals. I so hope these lowlife are caught and seriously charged.

If you haven't already, check on websites like gumtree and pets4homes to make sure they have not put him on those for sale. Hope he is found safe and well.

Two Asian youths arranged to view this puppy at 6 am today supposedly ' before they went to work ' . whilst one of them was ' taking a photo ' of the pup with his phone the other suddenly, grabbed Chez and they ran off. One youth was wearing dark blue jeans. a plain grey hoody and black trainers. The other youth was wearing dark blue jeans, a black hoody and black trainers. As they ran from the house they both put their hoods up.
The police habe issued a CRN and are on the scene now checking local CCTV cameras and knocking door to door .
The owner is very shocked and shaken after this despicable act amd we would appeal for anyone that may know who the youths may be, have seen them running away or where they ran to or knows of anyone acquiring or trying to sell a nine week old mastiff puppy to contact the police , doglost or the owners.
Hoping so very much we track down these thieves and Chez is found safe and sound x

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (55539)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
