- I have put posters in the petshop and the vet in Kirkby Stephen for both dogs but it might help if people living further afield could try to cover the main exit routes from Appleby. In particular, all stops along the A66 (east and west)and routes south through Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale. The exodus from the fair is well underway and the news needs to be spread rapidly.
