I'm so pleased to report that Chubs has been safely handed back to her family.
Her owner has worked so hard to find this little lost girl, postering, facebooking and travelling round the local area's talking to dog owners and locals. Thank heavens, the hard work has paid off. And tomorrow, Chubs will be taken to be microchipped!

The owner has now postered Little London, and Woodhouse. We've been contacted by a petshop owner who saw a pup very similar to Chubs in their shop at Meanwood on the afternoon she was lost. The owner is going to check their cctv footage, Also asking her local shops if she can look at their footage from the time Chubs was handed over to the man and children. I'm going to poster Burley park area tomorrow xx

The woman who found Chubs said she passed her on to a tall, skinny man with short light-coloured hair who had 2 children with him. He claimed he was the dogs owner. This happened near Woodhouse Community Centre around lunch-time yesterday. Shortly after Chubs went missing. xx

I've heard this morning that a woman a few streets from Chubs's home, tooh a young grey Staffy in which she'd found yesterday. However, she claims that some youths had approached her and said the dog was theirs and so she handed her over. The owner and I have been around the area this afternoon, postering and talking to people. The owner said that a child told her he saw a local woman walking a dog which sounded like Chubs, this morning. I'm now hoping to get contact details for this woman very soon. x

Spent time in the area that Chubs had gone missing. Spoke to neighbore on the estate where she lived, and people in the parks and woods near by. Nobody appeared to have seen her.
Her owner has printed off some posters which i'll be putting up tomorrow x

I've had a chat with the owner and she told me that Chubs is being looked after by her and is unfamiliar with the area. There was a possible sighting of her on Alexandra Road, Ls 6.
Her owner/carer is printing posters and is going to cover the area. I'm going out now to search her local park and woodland and to spread the word. I'll also pick up some posters to put up.
I've checked with the holding kennels and have passed all the numbers onto the owner. Dog warden has been informed x
