Confusion on when Ziggy actually went missing - most posts on Fb state the 3rd!! I have asked Gloria again to confirm when he actually went missing, also given advise on how to proceed about the Ad.

Hi Amanda. The owner Gloria has verified that the stud dog advertised below looks like Ziggy. She said the length of the hair and marking are identical. The advert was posted on the same day Ziggy went missing. How should she proceed with this? x

Further to comments about Manchester Dogs Home, they won't take descriptons over the phone as its very difficult to match up dogs just from a description, there is also upto 500 dogs in the at any time. We and MDH always tell owners to visit IN PERSON as they know their dog better than anyone else. It opens every day at 1pm.

despite ringing mdh,pet medics and dogwardens and leigh,no one can shed any light on sundays report of dog in park-posters have gone up all around wythenshawe area where he was stolen from,dog groomers in area have been visited,but up to now-no response at all,and were going into 3 weeks now.

She rang AW and they have none found in that area - they have told Gloria to ring Manchester City Council in the morning. She also rang MDH but they wouldn't confirm if any taken in and told her to ring AW - so going round in circles.

Gloria has been out and posted lots of posters in many areas around Wythenshawe x

Gloria was also approached today by a dog warden when she was putting up posters, the dog warden had received a call saying a Yorkie had been found collapsed in a nearby park. She followed her to one park, but it was the wrong one and then lost her when travelling to another. She stopped 2 PSCO's who tried ringing the dog warden, but she wasn't answering her phone. Gloria tried finding the other parks, but couldn't. She has rang DW out of hours and is waiting for them to call her back with details.

His owner had trouble registering him so I've put him on for her.

She's contacted the Dog Warden, vets dogs homes, got posters up, contacted the Police but due to the owner leaving the car window half way down they said that she had no real proof that he had been stolen and he could of jumped out. His owner said that he is too small to do that.
