Marmar. Am thrilled that storm is back home with you. As for those boys, it does make one wonder about their background. I hope they didn`t hit Storm. Sending healing vibes, and thoughts for any injury, physical or mental he may have through his trauma, and being away from his loving family. Stay safe, and close now Storm, as there are some evil people out there. Fortunately they are only the minority. Sending Storm (((HUGS))), pats, and kisses from me:-)xxx

It was great to have the phone message earlier today so say Storm was safe!!!The most important thing is getting in touch with owners to make sure they know they are not alone and to give ideas about what can be done, then having a plan for postering and searching.. The man who valiantly took over Storm deserves great commendation ...and a big kiss!!!!but the final achievement was by his use of Facebook and subsequent networking activities of viewers. Posters are also invaluable. Storm's mum and i discussed today the issue of there being so little public information available on what to do if you loose a dog but also on what to do if you find one!!!!It has become apparent that not everyone would immediately consider calling dog warden, police or even Dog Lost through not being aware......Although many people are aware of DOG LOST. Thank Dog!!!!!And tomorrow I follow my tracks and take down my posters and we go and meet Storm.!!!!

We are told a group of boys found him wandering in Caddington, picked him up in their car and were trying to use him for fighting. They approached another Staffordshire owner who was out walking with his dog and asked if his dog could fight "theirs". The man refused and (bravely) took our dog away from them, rescuing him from what could have been a terrible fate. He advertised on Facebook, asking if anyone had lost a staff to contact him and a few "reposts" later, Storm is safe at home with us, albeit with a few welts on his back from where it looks like he may been hit with something.

We have had a staggering amount of support from people involved with doglost and elsewhere, forwarding emails, printing posters, forwarding Facebook messages, asking around and watching out for him on their walks. It has reminded us that even though there are a few awful individuals out there (like those boys), there are a far greater number of wonderful caring people - something which it can be easy to forget at times. During the time Storm was missing all I could do was think of the worst. Can't describe howrelived and happy we are to have him home. Only thing now is he needs to have a bath :)

Storm has been found! We are overjoyed he is back at home safe. I am at work right now so will give a proper update tonight when I get in. Thank you so much doglost and all of the wonderful people and volunteers especially Caroline for all your hard work and support. Much love to you all and now I know about this site I will be printing posters and helping whenever I can - keep up the good work everyone and don't give up on your dog x

Hi Ive spoken to owner and have put 20 quick posters out on the stockwood park car park opp bottom of Farley Farm rd; one in the garage 100yds away and spoken to about five dog walkers and 6 young people and given them posters. Also put posters on lampposts on main road.
Owner has e mailed schools and vets.
Its possible that Storm may not be weaaring a collar and therefore will have no identying features. Appledown and Dog warden are aware he is missing. He walks regularly in Stockwood park.
Postering on the Farley Estate really important as well as stockwood park as someone may have kindly taken Storm in not knowing what else to do, but he needs medication for his skin complaint so his owners need to have him returned to their care very quickly.
PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR STORM!!!!
If not found by saturday we plan to do a meet and search, hoping helpers can come with posters, touch base, go off and poster and search and return to report back.
Time and meeting point will be posted on here Friday evening 7pm
