I have bumped Roxy to the top as she has now been missing for a year. This is an intelligent, tough, resourceful little terrier who is a skilled hunter and well able to survive on her own in this rural area. It is very likely that she is still out there, but could have travelled quite a way during the year. If anyone has seen her out and about, they may well have assumed that she was from a local farm and thought no more about it. So please watch out for this little dog.
Judith
A year today since my little dog went missing.. it's a sad day in our house, many memories evoked. We are all still terribly upset. There is still a flicker of hope in my heart.. I pray that one day we will still be reunited.

If anyone knows anything of her whereabouts, please come forward... I would be forever grateful and forever indebted. Thank you.
Judith
Poor Roxy.. still no news but I refuse to give up hope... if anyone has her, please give her back she is still very much missed and loved by her family.
Judith
The little scamp went missing 6 weeks ago. No recent sightings, at a loss of what we can do next? Any suggestions anyone?
rottie
not forgoten about you Roxy, we need you to show that lovely face again somewhere please!!
Judith
A big thank you to both Jules1971 and Sue at Dogslost for advertising Roxy on Facebook and Countryman's weekly. I need to keep the faith that she's still out there and is fit and well or if someone has got her, they will find the compassion in their heart to return her to her family who are desperately missing her. Thank you to everyone who is helping, it's keeping us going xxLast edited: 2013-05-11 23:16:38 by Judith

Sighted yesterday on the 6/5 in a field (where there has been previous sightings in the past) behind Postern Road (opposite the Acorn Pub) Anslow... the lady said she looked muddy, well and confident without a care in the world. She tried calling her but she didn't respond. Eric and I were on sight within 10 mins of the call but couldn't see her. The farmer who owns the field also has a white and tan JRT (not muddy though), they were out but the dog was loose on the yard.. it could of been the farmers dog, who knows. On the positive side if it was Roxy she's heading back in the direction of home. I pray someone sees her or even better finds her for her safe return home.. this is one of the most awful things we have all gone through. We miss her so much :( xx
rottie
Keep up the good work judith and eric, you are doing everything possible to get roxy home, hopefully she will give herself up soon. Please roxy come on home!!!
Judith
Roxy is on the move!! Sighting today at 16.30hrs on the road from Anslow to Hanbury. She was rolling around in dust.. probably has mange and covered in lice and ticks ..lovely!! More leaflet drops further afield tomorrow.. she is really giving us the run around!
Thank you so much to the lady who called me.. she had seen Roxy in the Burton Mail.
Judith
200 redesigned flyers have been distributed around the area she was last seen (Postern Road / Anslow / Callingwood). Roxy was in the Burton Mail yesterday, also on the website... no phone calls or sightings since last Tuesday. Can anyone advise on what to do next??? Last edited: 2013-05-01 21:01:35 by Judith

Judith
I have sent an email to Dogs Lost to ask whether the 'muddy gone to ground' picture could be put back on as the extra image. She looks so guilty.. as if to say 'sorry mum but I just can't help myself'.. she's greatly missed..it really is time for her to come home.
Belle
Thanks Angus - rather miss the one of her covered from head to toe in mud though! lol

Thank you again to Vicki, Pheobe and Wispa for sacrificing their precious time to look for Roxy, we managed to confirm that the sighting was infact Roxy again, Whispa definitely had a spring in her step whilst tracking her. We have spent days looking for her now. No further sightings yesterday or today, I really would of thought she would of come to us by now. We want her home so much, we would do anything.. we miss you terribly Roxy, please come back.
DogLostOwl
We think she may be a bit disoriented as she has wandered outside her normal exercise area. The lady who saw her this morning said she was exactly like the second photo where she is shown covered in mud.

Glad there has been another sighting of her. She is obviously enjoying herself to much to go home.

Roxy was sighted at 6 a.m. this morning by a lady from a neighbouring village who was driving through Tatenhill area and recognised her from a flyer which had been put through her door. This was in the area where Callingwood Lane turns off Tatenhill and ties in nicely with where Wispa led us yesterday on our second tracking expedition. Yesterday she took us straight down Cuckoo Cage Lane continuing down bridle path all the way to the backs of the houses in Tatenhill, then left along the stream bank in a loop back to Callingwood Lane. Then we drove her to the community centre where Roxy was seen a week ago, and she picked up the scent and followed that back in the direction of Callingwood Lane. So Wispa has pretty well mapped out Roxy's territory. Now it's a question of catching the scamp. It just shows how useful a flyer drop is.
Judith
A massive thank you to Pheobe, Vicky and the beautiful Wispa for giving me the reassurance I needed today (not forgetting a few sloppy kisses from Wispa telling me everything is going to be ok). Roxy is definitely scampering around the area- please keep a look out around Rangemore, Tatenhill, Callingwood, Dunstall and Anslow, more flyers going out tomorrow.... thank you to everyone for the help and support, its amazing. Its really time she came home now... the scamp! Last edited: 2013-04-16 22:38:09 by Judith

Vicky and I went out with Wispa to track Roxy, and the trail led past the wood where she was seen and up through the fields in the direction of Saturday's sighting. But the freshest scent led us in a big anticlockwise circuit down a minor road then for some distance along the verge of a major road before turning into a field, skirting another wood, running along a band of woods alongside the road and turning into another field. The circuit almost took us back home but headed back into the fields where we lost the scent. Wispa had by then worked for 2 hours and her nose and brain were tired. There was a stiff breeze gusting and veering a bit which didn't help. We think that Saturday's sighting was indeed Roxy, and she has been running round that circuit but where she has ended up we can't tell. She could be still on the move. More leafleting is being done, as some of our route today hadn't been included. Everyone is on the lookout for her.

Thanks so much for your help Vicky. I hope there's some more sightings soon.
