Ali-W has asked me to post an update (she cannot get onto the site)
Seemingly the person who picked him up took him to a vet who recognised him from DogLost. Big thumbs up for vet please - don't know which vet.

Thank you Clare for posting.

I sent a message to Ali-W just to confirm that Biggles was home.
This is the reply from Ali-W
"Have just spoken to owner. Biggles returned home last night. was
apparently found the night he went missing but the finder did not report it.
Have asked owners to microchip him and put a collar and tag on him"

Welcome home Biggles, stay safe little one xxx - into the blue you go

Owners have told us no collar or chip. Friendly dog.

Was he wearing a collar and if so, what colour? Is he friendly with strangers and other dogs? Will keep an eye out on Ashtead Common for him.

Will keep a look out for him and have sent on to friends in the area, hope he is found safely very soon. Have you notified the Rangers on the Common and at Horton Country Park ?

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.
