My girls are still lost - I have sought details on all those leads, but they are not Holly or Beau, some look very similar but not them unfortunately. Please keep looking for me - I miss them both so much

'Poochie parlour' Facebook page have found a dog that looks like beau (just a bit worse for wear) dd post previously but not sure it worked so posting again, hope this helps

There's been a bitch found in grays in Chelmsford, she has a full tail and is missing teeth, 'poochie parlour' found her and they have a Facebook page where they have a photograph

Female spaniel found in Leeds 13. No 51119. Has been chipped but no responce when warden phoned number. It's difficult to see Beau's details on photo but there is a similarity in face markings xx

We have arrested two men and recovered a dog, tools and a van all believed to have been stolen.

The arrests came after a member of the public called us on Wednesday February 6 to report two men in a van behaving suspiciously in Thornbury and abandoning a dog.

The dog, a cocker spaniel, was found to have been stolen from Thornbury earlier the same day.

The van was later found by police abandoned just off the A38 in Rudgeway. Officers believe the van had been stolen from London and it contained tools stolen from Thornbury earlier the same day. Two men aged 26 and 32 were arrested later the same day in connection with the thefts and remain in police custody today, Thursday February 7.

Thornbury Neighbourhood Sergeant Victoria Lansdown said: "We are very grateful to the member of the public who called us after becoming suspicious of the behaviour of two men in a van. I'd always say that if you are in any doubt give us a shout."

This Spaniel was found on 3/2/13 in the Ladgate Lane area. It is a female dog. If you have lost this dog please contact Middlesbrough Council on726001 (office hours) or the kennels on 01287 634240 (between 1.30pm & 4pm) quoting reference number ooh 562. She will be available for rehoming on 11/2/13 There is a photo of this dog but I do not know how to post it here.

Hi there, I am a member of the group "lost and stolen gun dogs" on Facebook. A female springer has been listed as found in the wolfhill area which I can't find on google. Looks very much like Holly. I know it's a long shot but you never know and I hope it gives some hoe that people are on the look out x

So sad to hear more Springers have been stolen, what can we do everyone ? there must be someone out there who has seen additional dogs ?
We have not heard anything about lovely Holly and Beau and it hurts so every time I pass their pen. We have passed the message to all the shoots in this area, nobody wants their pets taken. Need to keep strong in the hope they will come home. Carole

Ive just spoken to Carol the owner. There was a shooting comp going on at the pub next door to where she lives/dogs kept- on the very day the dogs were stolen!
I've urged her to go and contact whoever runs this shooting - to ask WHO was there on that day. She also has a lot of travellers passing by on a regular basis! :-( they must have been watching her house as her 87 y.o. mum went out for 1 hour that day... I hope I gave her some fresh ideas. Hopefully I can help.

Hi Carole, I'm not far - at Pensax. Have you been postering yet? If you've got some then I'll travel around locally for you but as they've been stolen, and it's more than 2 weeks ago, I'm at a loss how to help. I've shared on my facebook. Have you been looking on Prelove and other free sites that advertise dogs for sale? Also have you asked around whether there were vans trawling around, (travellers) around the time they were taken? there are a number of traveller sites around Stourport I'd put posters around - have you offered a reward? How about breeders? Have you contacted within a 50 mile radius? Car boots? people sell dogs at car boots. Have you contacted all dog wardens in a wide area in case they should turn up in a pound? You must really work hard and fast to advertise your girls. Make them too hot to handle. I see you didn't chip them - but are they spayed? I'm willing to help - but not sure where to start. Did you report this to the police and get a crime ref. No.?
Go and have a word with Tim at The Bridge pub - he knows a lot of people, get a poster up there immediately (if u haven't already) - I would have a reward in large letters on my poster ! Hopefully the scum bags that took your girls need the money and return them!. I'd stand outside all local schools - as far as Tenbury and Ludlow - and hand out these posters. Thank you for support, we have had a number of contacts, but unfortunately not our dogs. It gives me hope the girls will be returned, our hearts are heavy as time goes on, I truly need to know they are safe and not cold or hurt. Someone must have a clue who is behind the stealing of our pets ?? I will follow up all suggestions not explored to date.

sorry to see your girls have been taken. Poster around as much as poss and as sunday tomorrow try and get to churches and give out posters and all parks and walky type places, caffs and put posters through any known dog owners doors. good luck and hope your other dog is ok now too..

Beau and Holly were definately stolen, they were locked in their pen, the older dog not taken had put up a fight,she was distraught and had had trauma. Please can anyone give us a clue to their thereabouts, they are family pets, not working dogs. Our girls mean so much to us. Thank you.
