We're so pleased you have found dear old Badger, a lump in my throat as I type this, I have an old boy myself and know how very precious every moment spent with them is. HUGE ((hugs)) to you all.

Hello all, Badger has been found. He was in a field near our house. We had looked in that field at least 3 or 4 times. So message to others dont stop looking and keep looking where you have looked already event though it may seem futile.

Badger is very tired, stressed, cold hungry and thirsty. He is on medication which he has not had for 36 hours so we have tried to settle him down for the night.

He is very old and I know he won't be with us much longer. I am very pleased to have him back home.

Thanks all for your help

Badger has been found in a neighbours field , cold wet and miserable . He will hopefully be ok. His owners have tucked him up by the aga, so Im sure he will be ok by the morning . They are going to put a reunited photo on soon . Im so glad Badger is home in the warm XX

I've told some friends in upton cheyney know about badger, they said they'd spread the word around there
If he's confused and scared he may of found somewhere to hide out, would be worth owners contacting any farms or houses with sheds/outbuildings (of which I know there a few) in the local area asking them to check x

Badger wandered out of his garden yesterday, He is going blind and deaf and does have a few senile moments, which he did have some yesterday before he dissappeared. Owners have rung the 3 local Dogwardens, some vets and BristolDogs home. Thanks emmalouise Ive passed on your info. They have started postering and Im emailing advice sheets out now.
Mollychops
I will.Ive left them a message to help
emmalouise
Also Mollychops could you check if this is one of the farms springers? will just be helpful to know as people see them around and probably wouldn't worry they were on there own x

I've lived in barrs court and wick so this is definitely my area, worringly there one a lot of dangers for a dog around here particularly an old one, was end of ryedown lane backs onto busy roads and the other to the river
Owners need to poster cherry gardens/old land common like mad, and upton cheyney I have friends there so ill get them to look out for him, also contact Tracy park
any idea which direction he went? This would narrow it down a bit x Last edited: 2013-01-03 11:17:30 by emmalouise
