It does sound as though Bracken has been cared for by others, if she is in such a good condition. Stay safe now gorgeous Bracken:-)xxx

Fantastic news isn't it Nikki,we'll never know where she's been but considering she's in good condition afetr 6 days does make me wonder if she was just made too hot to handle with the amazing response from BT (and other) folks.

Bracken has been found. The lady who owns her is at work but has asked me to post - turned up on her parents doorstep this morning, looking cared for and well, no collar but otherwise healthy and OK. She thanks everyone for their help.

I have shared the poster & link with all the local vets & boarding kennels who have Facebook pages. I have mentioned the error on the poster and that Bracken is female. Goodluck

This BT is definately a female. Going to try and head up there tomorrow, so if locations can be added that would be great....

Can the photo be turned please, reported on FB as being lost in woods - any idea where? Just had this message "My border terrier was lost in High Wood above The Leazes, Shaws Lane, Hexham on Saturday afternoon 29 December. Her and her sister were after a rabbit or deer and only her sister returned.." and she's definitely female.Last edited: 2013-01-02 22:16:36 by twoDs
