Probably isn't but looks similar to a dog found in Wales, markings are not the same but maybe the photo has been reversed? Shot in the dark but maybe worth checking http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=47715
OK just looked again and dates don't match, dog was added today but found in November :-(

Still no news as yet but owner is postering and it has been om the radio.

The last reported sighting of him was by the New inn pub on the road between Roedheath and sandbach that was yesterday other than that he hasnt been anysighting today at all,checked with police in both staffs and cheshire no reported accidents not shown up at vets or dogs homes as of yet.Poster were up as from last night between us we have covered further areas today.He may have headed further into the cheshire area .

Owner needs to contact the council, poster asap. Contact local vets. Speak to dog walkers in the area. Contact local radio and the local paper. Check sites on the internet. Contact the chip company (if necessary) visit the dog pound at City Dogs Home, contact the Highways Agency, Railtrack and local farmers (if necessary).

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
