Steven has just rung me.....it wasnt Pippen :(

He said he had a good look at him and had taken Pippen's doggy brother too to see if he recognised him......what a shame. Steven wanted me to pass on the message that he wont give up and please keep looking for Pippen and sharing his poster. He really misses him and thanks everyone for their help. Thanks Jayne...have just spoken to owner.....hes convinced the dog in Leigh ID 297156 is Pippen and has also spoken to the staff at LDCH.Hes up all the way from Cardiff and going to Leigh tomorrow to see him. Owner said he will let us know asap......Fingers crossed xx

Below dog in Leigh 297156 is not Pippen :(

I emailed Leigh with Pippens details and they kindly replied to confirm this dog definately wasnt Pippen. They said Pippens owner Steven rings them daily and has also been to visit. Its good they are aware of Pippen and know Steven is actively searching.

Fingers crossed Pippen is found x

Lost Dog Appeal
People in Leigh are being asked to look
out for a dog which went missing after a
football match.
Coach driver Steven Harrison brought
Cardiff City fans to Bolton on November
3, and was accompanied by Staffordshire
crosses Pippin and Nipper, who had trave-
lled with him. But fireworks were set off
at the Reebok for Bonfire Night, startling
Pippin, which bolted from the coach.

Photo of dog on Wirral website looks similar worth checking, though found a distance away could have been passed/sold on..........says about 11 years (dont know how old Pippen is) plus chip but not sure how long Steven has had him....details with photo as follows:

Owner, Steven, has replied to say dog in Leigh (286945) is not Pippen.
He has problems with internet access so will need to ring or txt him with any information. Must be really difficult for him with that and living in Cardiff.

Thank you everyone, its great to see that you are all still looking out for Pippen. There are 2 similar dogs currently at Leigh Cats and Dogs Home, I have sent the photos to Steven for him to have a look.

Steven approached me the morning after Pippen went missing asking if me or my friend had seen him but unfortunately we hadn't. I work opposite the retail park & right next to the woodland area. Steven gave me a poster so i put it in the reception at work. So everyone who goes into my work (at least 150 people) will see it. Hope he is found soon!! I don't know what I'd do if I lost any of my dogs :-(! Will still keep an eye out every day in case I see him!

I've put a poster up in the services at Rivington South on the M61 which is close to where he went missing. I've also put one up at the train stn at Horwich, just outside the main building (on a phone box) as I was told I couldnt put any up inside the station. Has anyone been in touch with Railways? And Highways recently?

I've been up to Reebok today and asked at the police station, they had the missing report for Pippen right near him and he said they were keeping an eye out. I left a poster and he said he'd put it up on the front door. I also left posters at HomeBase, Halfords, Pets@Home (there was already one there so I just added the extra numbers too it). I also left one in Asda, they don't have a community notice board but the lady said she would put the poster in the staff room and ask around. A lot of the shops wouldn't take a poster because they're not allowed and can't put any on the street furniture on the actual retail park as they get removed straight away, but I guess its a start.
I'll go back in a day or two and do the train station and the Arena & the hotel.
