That`s good. Cat protection are unindated with cats/kittens looking for homes, and so consequently there is a waiting list of about 12 weeks where I live. We have had this problem recently with a stray cat and her kittens, but thankfully CP helped out by spaying, and hopefully the waiting list. This is why I think spaying is so important. Thank you DogLost for your comments below.

Thanks for the advice re spaying. This was the first thing I mentioned to her owner and I did ask was she acting strangely showing signs of being in season, owner said she wasn't. Bo was already booked in to get spayed on Friday which is great news. :) x

PS Forgot to mention if you need help with the cost of cat spaying, phone Cat protection, and you may be able to get a voucher, which can save you about £20 to £26 depending on the sex of your feline. This can also include stray cats you may have found too.

Great news. Stay safe now Bo. You are right pollydog, Acfemale cat that has not been spayed will go much further than a cat that has been neutered. (I have two female cats, both spayed) On average a neutered female cat will have it`s territory measuring about the size of two or three back gardens. A little bit more for a neutered male cat. As we all know a male cat that hasn`t been neutered will go quite a way looking for a girlfriend. I read upon this a while ago written by experts. IF YOU GOOGLE UTUBE TO "HELP" CAT VIDEO, IT`S ABOUT HAVING YOUR CAT SPAYED, AND IS SUNG TO THE TUNE OF "HELP" BUT WITH APPROPRIATE WORDS. IT`S VERY GOOD.

Just a thought - is she spayed? If not, she may have taken herself out on a date, female cats in season can be very determined when it comes to getting out to find a mate! Keep a check on her for any sign of weight gain just in case (and yes, they are still breeding at this time of year). If she is spayed, perhaps she's just getting a bit interested in the world outside - and at least now you know she can find her way home if she does go out.
