There is tan coloured staffy that has been found in the CT14 area with a white chest. Apparently not chipped but it could have been missed. It is on the register and is with a dog warden according to

Might be worth a try.

There is a Pets at Home near you. I wonder if they would let you put up a poster? Waddon Goods Yard Purley Way Croydon CR0 4NX, are there any other pet shops in the area? You are doing really well and sometimes people rip down posters because they dont want anyone to see them....as they know where the dog is, sometimes they are just mean and nasty. The fact Major is chipped is a big plus. I will keep sharing Major as well of course.

Thank you. I have found Majors chip number and added to the lost dog profile. I have contacted petlog and the vet who chipped him. To advise he is lost. I have posted along our usually walking routes. For some reason from the five ways , down Dennings Avenue and Warham Road, someone is violently ripping off the posters. ( I am not sure if it is the person who is said to have a dog who looks like Major but is not Major There was a sighting with a guy who sits on a bench near the bowling club on Warham Road and drink, I have paid and put a poster on the shop window that the person says he buys his drink from. other than that i no other sightings. I have been demoralised by the person or persons ripping the posters down. Not sure why they are doing this, as I am posting only on trees not private property. I will fly post again this weekend and widen the concentric circle out further. The Animal Wardens at Sutton and croydon and Battersea dogs home keep saying because he is chipped if he comes to their attention I will be called. I have ben told about Staff G's owner who successfully got her dog back... I will follow the methods that on that link and call to speak to her. Major is dearly missed and I feel so guilty as I lost him . Thank you all for helping.

I have shared Major on Twitter. I will also post on my vets wall as we are up in Streatham Hill area but you never know he might end up this way if someone kept him.
