Any news on this lad? Only a young girl in hampshire posted on a facebook page today she had found a similar looking staffie running loose down a country lane. She didn't report it but gave the dog to someone else. She never took any contact details but I will be contacting the dog warden to see if this dog had been reported

Thank you for updating jennie :)

I had a message off Alfie's owner. He said the dog at the dogs home isn't Alfie.
He was also going to contact someone who had found a dog which is simular to Alfie and he would let me know the outcome of that.

Hoping Alfie is home very very soon x

I've had everything crossed all day, hoping for some good news tomorrow when Alfie's owner goes to Cheshire dogs home to check the found dog x

Called into Halewood RSPCA this afternoon to check on any NW dogs looked out for Alfie. Fingers crossed the found you have mentioned Maggie is Alfie. xxx

I've been trying to get incontact with Alfie's owner, text, rang, mailed, fb pm but not heard back from them.

Finder of the dog below as looked at Alfies pic on here, they are not saying it is him but they have given me contact number for them so they can check to see if it is Alfie. will keep trying to get hold of Jennie

Staffy cross on gumtree, male, found 25th May near Dunham Massey. looks simular to Alfie.I know its a different area but well worth checking due to the length of time hes been missing. I have sent them a message to see if they can check on here and also put in the found section. Will try and get a better pic of the found one - please take a look, this is the link (copy link and pasted into address bar)

jennie, if not already it is important that Halewood RSPCA and stray kennels are visited in person, they are inundated with Staffies and Staffy crosses. I did speak to RSPCA today and there are a few in there. x

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
