Welcome home Ebony. Stay safe now. So sorry that Honey didn`t make it home too. Sweet dreams Honey, now in the care of God, who will be keeping watch whilst she is playing at thew bridge in the beautiful sunshine. When the time is right, you will see Honey again; never to be parted again. Night, night Honey, sleep tight. RIP+++ My thoughts and prayers are with Honey`s family at this time. God Bless.

I had problems with laptop yesterday getting online and been made busy catching up. Only just seen this.

Thanks Esty for the messages via facebook which I have just picked up. So sad Honey has been found in tragic circumstances but great Ebony is o.k.

Will look into seeing if these are the same ones that Esty posted about earlier and found in October (link above) as if it is this is the THIRD time they have gone missing that we know of. :( x

RIP Honey so sad to see another doggie lost to the railways.
Ebony is one lucky girl hope she soon recovers from her injuries and losing her mate. Thinking of the owners at this sad time.

Honey's body has been recovered from the railwaylines and is being buried this afternoon. GOOD NEWS Ebony managed to make her way home she has some minor cuts and bruises but otherwise had a very lucky escape.Last edited: 2012-04-22 13:24:50 by AlisonH

How tragic - yet another lost to the railways. I am so very sorry. My thoughts are with Honey's family at this sad time. Run free at the bridge, dear Honey xx Do hope Ebony is OK.
Esty
Oh no, what horrible news :'( That railway is so busy and very few ways onto it (high secure fences all along) so they would have been trapped once they got on there. Poor, poor babies.

I am sad to report that the body of Honey has been found at the side of the railtrack. The kind lady that is helping the owner search thinks she can see Ebony's body in the bushes but is unable to get close enough to confirm this. Network rail have been contacted. Helper is going to call me once they know for certain so until then I will leave this in lost. NO PHOTO AVAILABLE.Last edited: 2012-04-21 17:24:43 by AlisonH

If they are same dogs, I have a pic from when I found them last year - it's not brilliant but better than nothing. Of course would need to double check that they are the same dogs.
Esty
These could be the same dogs that I found straying near Victoria Park last year (same breed, names and area.) Honey was also found straying in October. I will share this on my facebook page and have sent link to Majorjet. Hope they are found safe.
