Thank you evryone for so much help major still hasn't been found I am going to do some flyers this week and post them around the area this has been a nytmare and I am hoping some1 has him indoors and is looking after him I am still trying to do as much as I can to find my little boy agen to evryone thanks for you help HOPE HES HOME SOON REALLY MISS HIM SO MUCH

Hi Shirley. Are you postering? Get hundreds of posters all over the area, put flyers through doors, put flyers on car windows, have a word with the local postman, taxi drivers...anything that will raise Major's profile! Chances are that if there has been no sightings of him someone has picked him up. It only takes that one person who knows where he is to see a poster and get in touch. Also keep all vets in the area informed, give them a poster. Don't give up! xxx

still hasn't been found he went missing from the B6302 newhouse road between crsay colliery and esh winning I have been to deerness kennels but the dog which was in wasnt him a few have said they seen a dog with his description around allotment areas not far from here but as of yet nothing has come back if anyone has info or has any areas of sightings please contact me thanks shirley

Have spoken to owner- Major is one year old and went missing on a walk and there have been no sightings of him reported as yet.
He went missing near Neville's cross/ Langley Moor area.
owner has contacted all relevant authorities and stray kennels- advised to visit stray kennels as well.
advised to get the list of vets in the region and contact them as well.
Fingers crossed this much loved pet is found soon

Saw Major advertised as lost on gumtree. I have tweeted his page and photo today and had some re-tweets. I really hope he is found soon and I'll keep sharing. Lesley

Photo has also been received in Admin and I've now uploaded it ready for email alerts to go out. Keeping everything crossed Major is back home soon. x

I notice owner has listed Major on Gumtree and National Pet Register with photo.

Have posted his details & photo onto Strayaid facebook page and emailed to Deerness Kennels. Hopefully if we can blitz the area with posters tomorrow, we can get this little boy home soon. x

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (38451)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
• Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
