I'm so glad my little JR isn't interested in holes, she just likes digging them...well done for finding Berty, bet you ached afterwards, 2 hours of digging will have done you a world of good if you have been counting the calories...stay safe now Berty and no more hiding xxx

email from owner just received hi found berty to day he had gone down a badger hole and got suck . Thankfully my other dog marked the hole and with two hours of digging and 5ft down out poped a dirty berty .After six days under ground he is looking very well and is back on his spot on the sofa . Would like to thank doglost for all its help

No new as yet. Owner is going to dig up a drain on the farm, just to check he is not in there. Berty has been taught from a youngster not to cross roads.

Spoke to owners son. Berty is a farm dog, who was checking round the bounderies with his owner and he suddenly vanished. He is not a dog that goes down holes at all. Owner is hoping he has been picked up on the road. Local vet has been notified and DW will be notified . An ad is also going in the paper on Thursday and also local radio will be asked to put it on air.
