Spoke to owner things are progressing, we will just have to wait for the outcome.

At least we know for sure now but hopefully we can find out where they come from. At least the police are involved. I hope they haven't moved on. Speak soon. Liz xx

lets hope these thieving low lifes either get a conscience and give her back or the police catch up with them and start taking a stand in these dog thefts, these dogs are part of our family and not just a money spinner. Best of luck xx Last edited: 2012-03-07 09:20:22 by rottie

It has now been confirmed that Aoife was definately stolen by 2 men in a transit style flatbed truck which has a green cab. The cab carries a tatty white sticker on the side with 'Scrap Man' in red writing on it.
They have been seen in Littlover around a week ago.
The police are now involved.

message from owner:
Aoife hasn't returned.

I have been thinking and remembered that just before she went missing there were some scrap men on our road. My gut tells me that they have taken her. Her brother is lost without her and now won't eat.

I want to thank you for all you have done so far.

Owner is not sure if she was taken or got out of the garden as she is an escape artist. They live in a cul-de-sac with a field close by, that is used by people who walk dogs and also by people whose children go to the local school, there is also a supermarket close by. Owner has put a poster on her gate and has contacted DW, chip company and vets. She is going to try local radio station and the paper, she has also been asking local dog walkers. Eefa's brother is at home and is missing her.
