Have texted owner for news, and sadly none. Owner believes she will not hear now, but I have tried to tell her that we can help and asked her to read Misha's page here. I want to send her advice but have no email addy - have requested this. Come on Misha, sweetheart, where are you? x

What a lovely reassuring post - Well done Alice! I'm a dog walker based in Hitchin but I usually walk in Baldock too at least once a day. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this little cutie. What are the details as to how she went missing? Does she have a collar on, and is she nervous? Will she approach other people who are trying to help? Feeling your pain and praying for a happy ending. Lorraine x x

I live in Ashwell (Back Street), I do some pet sitting and a little bit of dog walking (in between studying!). I volunteer at Wood Green Animal Shelter in Godmanchester on fridays, so I'll take a poster in then (although I'm sure they're already aware of her). I'm also friends with the Huntingdon dog warden, so I'll make sure she's aware and notifies her local colleagues. Get Rob in the Post Office to put up a poster on the notice board, and it'd probably be worth getting Geet at the village store to as well (a lot of builders and tradesmen shop there, so word could spread far), if you haven't already. If you want any help with anything my mum Jane is the parish clerk, her number is in the Ashwell Village News, just give her a ring and ask for Alice(although I have injured my foot at the moment and have been ordered to rest it I am near to Partridge Hill/Arbury Banks so if she's run off I could help.). I also put out food (dog kibble) for the foxes/hedgehogs/badgers, so if she's run off she may well come to my garden (which is easily accessed by animals from Partridge Hill, through the orchard owned by the Willat's factory (the window factory at the end of Back st). If she was stolen she may well be dumped when they realise her age, so contact as many dog wardens, vets, kennels, shelters in Herts/Beds/Cambs as possible. Hope she comes home soon, Alice

Sorry to see that MISHA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (35075)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
