The found dog here on doglost is 37142 which has now gone to rescue, has owner of Brindle had sight of him just in case?

I often wonder if it is feasible to surrender a dog to a pound as unwanted when theives suspect that they need get rid quickly, giving false details in order to cover the tracks of a a stolen one? Have a look at this one for instance? http://www.wirral.gov.uk/wirraldogs/Detail.asp?DogsID=6731

BACK IN SEPTEMBER HILLBRAE KENNELS, IN TELFORD HAD A DOG STOLEN BY 2 MEN OF MIXED RACE DRIVING A SILVER CAR. DOG WAS FOUND BY POLICE AND RETURNED.-WONDER IF THERE IS A CONNECTION.

This is bad news as if I am correct in thinking this the same type of car VW Golf that a couple of days ago- stole Twinkle Teal & Tess from OX region and Smudge in RG7
