Thanks for everyones help .just to let you know sassy is home and she is now very happy snoring her head off laying on the rug she was so happy to see everyone and is being spolit rotten. She was running out of there and couldn't wait to get home. Once again dog lost is so fantastic and I'm committed to helping all dogs from now on .Sharon xxxx

Oh my god, that's bloody awful, but I'm not surprised at all. I did think in was Woodlands...........just think she's been sitting there whilst all the people with all the technology in the world don't have a clue about what they're doing, or what they'be done. Please, let us know asap when you get her back. Poor Sassy and poor you ! All this heartache for nothing ! Mind you, I did think it strange that there'd been no sightings, nothing, and dogs don't just dissapear ! Just a man in a big hat and a clipboard no doubt, not having a clue, and it seems not a care in the world ! Heidi. xx Do let us know when she's home I shall be worried all afternoon x

Thank you. Rang Bromley first thing after a hour of arguements with them saying no we havnt had her me saying yes you have they decided to ring me back after they investigate . Yay they rang admitted there mistake she is indeed at seven oaks woodlands kennels about to go up for rehoming. And was told because it was there mistake there won't be no charge for her.don't know whether to cry or laugh they have had her all along. As we speak my mother and daughter are on there way to collect her .only I'm on holiday will let you all know what sort of state she is in when my mum rings me. If I ever find a dog I'm not handing it over think I will try to find the owner myself .can't see another family go through what we have had to endure for the last 10 days xxx

Ha ha yes must sort them out .hoping we can get her back tried both them kennels she's not there so god knows where they have put her. Sent a letter of complaint to Bromley council told them im going to the papers can't understand what the he'll they do.tbh don't think they are interested atall

Hi Sharon, I'm sorry sorry to see you have got Sassy back yet. This situation is completely and utterly ridiculous and I know of so many other cases where this is happening. Not only are the dogs suffering, but the owners are going through hell and back trying to retrieve their dogs (and then being expected to pay a small fortune for the privilege). Once you've got her back, we must get in touch and start some sort of campaign against these idiots (of course, we'll have to do it on a weekday !). F.............A..holes. Will be in touch. Heidi. PS Please let us know as soon as you've got her back. Just to give you a laugh, I found a dog, reported it to the police that I was keepint it till the owner was found........three weeks later it turned out that the police had lost it when arresting the owner, then they refused to give me his name and address because of the data protection act ! When I told them to give the owner my details, they put the phone down !!!!

thanks heidi.have had another day from hell cant take no more been trying allday today .mind you spoke to someone at woodlands was really helpfull he couldnt belive what we have gone through this week with bromley council dog wardens he was also writing a email of complaint to them.he was very helpfull well it seems sassy was ppicked up by the wardens at a vets in st pauls cray last friday.the same vets that has a poster of her in there window disgrace. went there today they never even logged her coming in to them cant remenber seeing her.disgrace .then the same dog warden that i spoke to monday and wednesday had her transferd to dover. disgrace once again .she told me they had no dogs in.battersea matched her up on the datsbase today and called me. now my poor girl is somewhere stuck in a kennel in dover has been there all week.cant get hold of anyone from bromley got to wait till monday only they need to tell me where they have put her and get a reference number. cant take it bromley council dog wardens are rubbish and to be honest wouldnt surprise me if they are in with all this money making scams hiding dogs.rand so many kennels in dover still cant find her .how you supposed to claim a dog when they do this and shut weekends totally useless.

Sharon, you're right - Bromley are absolutely useless. I've tried all the people I know who would know what kennels they use, both can't get hold of anyone. I have a feeling, but I'm really not sure that it is Woodlands at Sevenoaks, but I'm not sure. heidi

Does anyone know where Bromley council hold there lost dogs had a call saying they think Bromley wardens may have her .god they only work Monday to Friday really can't get no joy ,even been reported to them 3 times this week .now I found out from battersea they have got her Bromley out of hours service is rubbish .

Look on all free ad websites, including gumtree, pets4homes, preloved etc in case someone has her, or trying to sell her on.

For the next few days I shall change my dog walking areas to include Petts Wood and Scadbury Nature Reserve as they are more over towards Orpington and poster these places, speak to other dog walkers etc.etc. Good luck, don't get despondent. Will also speak to our local Special PC's who seem to wander around aimlessly !

Hi, I shall poster Chislehurst doggie walking areas and High Street, vets etc. If she has been stolen it's good that she has such distinctive markings and will be relatively easy to spot/recognise. Good luck, will keep my beedy eyes open and let as many people as possible know about Sassy x

Have just spoken to the lady who registered Sassy. It is her mothers dog. Microchip details are for old address so I have stressed the importance of contacting the microchip company and updating details. It seems that Sassy was in a secure garden so owners think she must have been stolen. Photo cannot be found at the moment but will be sent in asap. Local vets and out of hours dog warden have been contacted.
