Barrybloodhound, I did not see the advert in the Sun, but there was an advert in the News of The World a couple of weeks ago for Doberman Bodie, Doglost ID 26524 -wonder if this was the same one?
Bodie was Black & Tan, not Liver & Tan like this one, so no match sadly - hope this fellow is claimed or gets a loving home soon.

DW has kindly uploaded his pic - so far this guy has not been claimed.....he will be going to Doberman rescue.

So the microchip details are not valid? There is a private ad for a missing doberman in today's sun newspaper on page 53. This is the contact number on the ad but if they have gone to the effort of taking an add out im sure the chip details would be up to date. 07508 318901. Worth a try?
