Just about to put on here but Owl beat me to it. She is speyed so no chance of puppies!!!
DogLostOwl
You are quite right Suziewoo, neutered means that Central, wonderful though they have been, have got their wires crossed somewhere. Peter has confirmed to Danria that she is not in whelp.

Thanks for the link!

I may not be very bright but doesn't "neutered" mean that babies are highly unlikely?? Perhaps I haven't read all of this properly but good luck anyway ;-)
DonnaB
Wow, Soot babies, i wasn't expecting that. Bet there won't be any shortage of people wanting to home the puppies...
carol
just watched central news...puppy soots !!! How fab ! been and took posters down, everyone at places (pets at home, esso, sainsburys etc in shrewsbury) all as pleased as punch for u both ! xLast edited: 2011-03-03 18:38:36 by carol

Just watched Central and it said Soot is expecting babies!!

Well done to all especially Spindle for the support she gave the owner. Really pleased Soot is home safe and sound, hopefully she will have a new ID tag and possibly be microchipped too. I wish more owners were so proactive.

Oh gosh, that's a relief! Welcome home lovely Soot - stay safe now. A big thank you also to all who helped in the search, and reuniting of Soot x
Tazi
I Have just read the updates from peter, its so heartwarming to know they are back together safe and sound, i cried with relief when i read she had been found, i carn't imaagine what they must have been going through, well done to you all, i spoke to peter a few days ago when we saw a collie dog near bridgnorth but obviously it wasn't her. What a lovely end to the story of missing Soot, hope you stay happy and safe from now on and no more travels alone.
What a story! Best Wishes to you both.
DonnaB
It was lovely to read the updates on here and on Facebook last night, so happy for Soot and Peter xxx. Looking forward to watching the news tonight :-))
Divadon
So pleased to hear that Soot is now home again where she belongs :-)
colliebird
Wonderful news that Soot has been found and reunited with her owner.
Thanks should be given to every single person who has published, forwarded, postered, emailed, twittered, Facebooked, phoned and "walked the walk" in the effort to find Soot. It has been a great example of team work by EVERYONE.
I'd love to know where Soot was found and in what circumstances, as I'm sure everyone else would.
Landrovers are often stolen with dogs in them, and the dogs dumped, usually far away from home. Most have been found, some haven't. Please may I remind everyone, even if you are just filling up with fuel, or closing the gate of your property and have only a couple of steps to do it, lock the vehicle and put the keys in your pocket, it only takes a couple of seconds for a thief to steal it.
Orf m' soapbox. BIG hugs for Soot from me and my gang of Border Collies, farts or no farts! :-))

morning... I am so happy she is home , love to u both.....will get the Shropshire star and have a happy cry for u love the clarksons (including razzle dazzle the jack russell)
DogLostNina
Love bing involved with doglost and reading all these comments its better than watching TV! Now have I missed something like how was Soot found or will this all be revealed in time.
MHale
Being a fellow Land Rover nut I wonder if you could send over every detail of the car, inside and out, almost like a car ad and get that out, it may not be in the country but if it is, it may help. The plates would have been changed by now, so its more interior fittings - like seat colours, trim colours. Its an XS model, anything else that makes it unique to you? Discovery 3 or Discovery 4 - facelift model or not? Cheers.
Sooty
Morning all... Just had the Shropshire Star round to do photos - again I've emphasised that I would like Doglost and K9 to be mentioned in the article - see what happens - took loads of pics..

I dont know what they fed her - she slept in my bedroom last night, and the air was thick with nice big warm smelly farts... couldnt sleep, but couldnt chuck her out to her bed downstairs either... :-( We'll get some decent food down her now.. !!!!!

More updates when things happen..

Just the best news ever !!!! Well done to Lynn and all who worked in the common interest to help get Soot home again. Welcome home beautiful Soot and please stay safe from now on xx
MHale
Perhaps the wording could be changed to 'She's found and captured' But either way, the fact that she was found, I couldn't care less who by. I would never do this to profit, I love my dogs too much for that, I just hope the same can be said for those who found her!! Hope you enjoyed your adventure Soot! :0)
Spindle
Thank you so much Peter for your kind comments. Sad to see comments I put on have been misinterpreted. I would like to reiterate that “we have her will update more in a moment” – is just a phrase, telling people following a lost dog on our site that the dog is safe. Nothing more.

The important things is that Soot is safely back home where she belongs, and as a Doglost co ordinator, I did what I normally would do and that is to help and support an owner.

DogLostReynard

Welcome home Soot, and so glad you have her back Peter, yours and everyone elses efforts have been tireless. Shame the Dog Warden took comments the wrong way. All rescue organisations are striving for the same thing arn't they? (To make sure our animals are safe and looked after!) Sure if Nikkki joins dog lost she will see what kind and caring people the members and co-ordinaters are!

Oh, that was lovely to read. Glad everything turned out for the best. I would love to meet Soot. I have looked at her pic so much over the past few days, it is imprinted in my mind :)

All the best for the future to you both.

Sooty
Well... I'm sitting at my desk, with a very content, relaxed Soot crashed out next to me. Its been one of the worst experiences of my life. I only managed to get through it with the unstinting, quietly confident and highly professional efforts of the Doglost team - Lynn, Sue and Kate in particular, together with Phoebe - all of whom kept me going through the dark hours with their quiet determination. As things went by, we were joined by the K9 team, who backed the original crew with a huge rush of local knowledge and support - all have worked brilliantly together. We could not have gotten Soot back without EVERYONE working as a team - I run a building conservation company, with 10 or more in the crew, and I've never seen teamwork like I've seen this week. I'm humbled by the time, the commitment, and the sheer love that everyone has given - I've met some incredible people - normal, everyday folks who are just shining examples of wonderful, caring people. I'm not exaggerating - I mean every word I say. I think there is a lot more mileage to be gained through Doglost working with local groups like K9 - Jennie was able to bring so much local knowledge to the table which backed up the Regional intel and detailed knowledge of the police and their national methods. Its this combination that got the result, I'm sure. In the end, Nikki and Pete did the deed - I will never forget their smiling faces as they stood there with my beautiful Grot Dog - first time I've seen her NOT covered in mud for months!
Thank You - everyone - and stick around - I'll organise a party for Soot and her team as soon as we can... then ALL the dogs can chase steam trains...

Central news are filming tomorrow.

There will be some more news about this whole event, at some stage in the coming days. Stay tuned !

Thank you - all - from the bottom of my heart..
Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London
Welcome home Soot. I am so pleased you are home and safe. The important thing about this site is that we are all dog loving volanteers who are pleased to see a dog go into the blue. Our coordinators do a fantastic job in bringing search teams together and a lot of behind the scenes activity. Hats off to doglost and all who sail in her!!!
abbeyjune
Im sorry Nikkki but I do feel you ought to apologize to all these brilliant people who have made this outcome possible.Big or small they have all done their utmost. You were a cog in the wheel which is great but they were all cogs turning that wheel.xxx

I am SO pleased that Soot has been reunited safely! Welcome home, precious x. DogLost people, co ordinators and helpers, you are the best! DogLost is not about taking credit for good deeds; it simply does them because it is a fantastic community of wonderful, caring individuals who give love, support, advice and loads of physical help to dogs and their owners at a very traumatic time. Without DogLost, I may not have made it through my own tragedy. God bless you all.

BRILLIANT news to see the lovely Soot is back home with Pete, thanks Angus for the text alert earlier greatly appreciated. :)

A MASSIVE WELL DONE and THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who has helped in the search, supported Pete, put posters up, cross posted and finally made it possible for her to be reunited back home with Pete. Lots of hugs and cuddles to the gorgeous Soot, WELCOME HOME. Jan x
DogLostAngus
Carol, good question - please take down those posters that you see and maybe just leave one or two with FOUND written across them, by taking them down the councils streets departments will be kept happy and the next dog that goes missing will get an equal chance of their posters being noticed, you will find people will be very pleased to hear the story of how SOOT was found
carol
Cant not wait to c on local news , was bathing children so missed earlier one....brilliant outcome......do i now go and take the posters down or put "found" across them ? my first time ! x

So Nikki Dudley Dog Warden how about working with us at doglost. You can see that there are many keen dog lovers on this site who I am sure could and would help you. Be assured that there are many Dog Wardens who come on site they have realized the benefits of doing so.

I Just want to say I think Spindle was misunderstood with her post that 'WE have her'...ive seen it used many times on DL and the meaning is that the dog is Safe and owner on way...Thank you so much to EVERYBODY who has helped that includes ALL the cross posters (ive seen so many through FB) who have sent rescues/Kennels/Councils as nobody realy knew where Soot was!!!K9 search!!!! Nikki the DW and Spindle who has given Massive emotional support to Peter....We All do it FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS!!!

I am so plesed, saw the other Collie stolen with 4x4 earlier and thought it was this one, then my friend put Soot up again on FB and I checked, Now I can let all my FB doggy friends know. soooo happy, (Cornwall)

Welcome home, Soot! How very odd that a nice message was taken the wrong way by a dog warden. Surprising too that your own service isn't aware of us, the only national website for missing dogs, and one that works with the members of the k9 team you mention. Still, now you've found us, however you have, perhaps you could stay on board and help - after all we're the only place that lists all dogs in all areas. You can even have your own tag by your name recognising you as the dog warden. Perhaps you could drop admin a line and it can be arranged, on admin@doglost.co.uk. Well done for your efforts, you do a tough job out there on the streets for our dogs and I'm glad your efforts to find this dog has been recognised. Well done all those involved, but esp to Nikkki for picking Soot up safely. xxx

Nikkki,it doesnt really matter does it? WELCOME BACK BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!xxx

Oh dear oh dear! What is happening here. Thanks should be given to all concerned. Dudley Dog Wardens for doing their job for which they get paid for. Doglost and K9search volunteers and helpers for their part in working to help bring this happy reunion all for free and for the love of dogs.

I think if Nikki had read Spindles last post 'We will update here as soon as possible. This owner has worked tirelessly and I just know she will go mad. Will get photos and full story as soon as get call. Tears all round' she would have seen there was no claim that Doglost had found Soot and was waiting for further details as we all have been. As I said before I am just pleased Soot is home.
doglady
Welcome home lovely Girl. Stay safe now.
DonnaB
Nikki - we are all extremely happy that Soot has been found and thank you for your input, however, Doglost is the site where many people have been congregating in the search for Soot, everyone who has searched day and night, put up posters and spread the word. Well done to the Doglost team for all of their VOLUNTARY effort, it's a good job there are people like you around.
Unknown
I don't think we should let a joyous moment be saddenend by misunderstanding. I think you have taken this the wrong way. "we have her" is a way of letting us know that she has been found. We know that it may be the DW's or the police and that we will be updated later, either by the owners themselves or by doglost.

Spindle is one of the mods of here and spends a lot of time liaisng with people to get their pets home to them.

Now you know of doglost you can see what happens on here and you are welcome on anytime.Last edited: 2011-03-02 19:05:57

I would l;like to Add the campaign Lead by K9 rescue on face book was amazing and I'm sure this help get this lovely dog back. So a big well done to all at K9 rescue. You Know who you are xxxxxxx
nikkki
I'm not sure who "Spindle" is and have had no association with DogLost or contact with them before but I am 1 of the Dudley Dog Wardens and the person that who personally returned Soot to her owner today after my collegue found her. It is great news that she has been returned to her owner Peter but DogLost claiming "We have her, will update more in moment." is innacurate and misleading.

I was simply doing my job but this site was brought to my attention claiming that you found her and Spindle who co-ordinated the search.

I was liasing with the K9Search team to find and return soot but for those members who would like to see pictures I took of Soots happy return http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_202157593129727&ap=1

The minute Peter arrived Soot was excited and you could see how much she had missed her owner.

*************YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!******************
Spindle
We have her, will update more in moment.
DonnaB
The other big worry is that she was picked up and taken to a rescue centre straight away. As she is not microchipped, if they don't know someone is looking for her they can rehome her after 7 days. If she is rehomed and you then discover which centre she was in they are not allowed/able to tell you where she was rehomed to...
Unknown
I feel in my mind that she has been sold on and it may take a while to get her back. There may be a link with the Bromsgrove one, as these people are probably going around looking for these types of vehicle, as they can make good money from them. We just have to have hope that she is ok and well looked after wherever she is. Liz
Spindle
thanks for all these comments. Will update when we know a bit more.
DonnaB
Haven't spoken to the owner since yesterday afternoon, don't know if they're still out looking? If so, where? Went out yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours but no sign, don't really know where to look now. Realistically, she could be anywhere in the country, they could have drove to anywhere in the UK without stopping to let her out. does anyone know if the CCTV picked up the reg of the van the thieves arrived in, if so, can it be traced to anywhere? Also, is it possible to send Soot's details to every rescue centre in England/Wales?
coralvb
It also crossed my mind whether there was any link to another similar case to this a few weeks ago when a Bromsgrove (not a million miles away!!)family had their landrover stolen with their dogs in it. They were recovered a few weeks later from Banbury. Just seemed a little too coincidental and could they offer any advice on how they recovered their dogs. (Does the admin team know what steps lead to recovery etc)
Roz
Ok Sorry to cause confusion, please ignore my last post.
I think the potential sighting at Quatt may have been last week, so may not even have been her. :-(
Apologies!!
Back to the drawing board, and being on the lookout.
coralvb
If it is her then she might possibly recognise the area from walks etc. It is quite rural. If the owner knows about this possibility then he might have more idea on the places to look.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Wow! I hope this is Soot on her way home - she must be a clever dog anyway, so she could perhaps figure this out! Come on Sooty Soot! Yes, I too am worried that she has no ID, hope owner checks kennels constantly. Hopefully her lovely face will get her recognised with all the posters and work you are all doing. Please let the sighting be her. x Last edited: 2011-03-02 13:35:48 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
coralvb
If that sighting can be confirmed then she is about three miles from home as she comes from Chelmarsh. She would need to cross the river though.
Roz
There has been an unconfirmed report, thro a friend of a friend etc, that a collie has been sighted near River Severn in/near Quatt on the way to Bridgnorth, not sure when tho. Just hoping to find out more. Can't get out this afternoon :-(
Can DL Admin confirm at all? If this is her, she's getting closer to home. Everything crossed.
Roz
Have been in touch with local rescue and kennels used by Wyre Forest council, to make them aware in case she comes in...kennels already was.
Unknown
The dog found at Stew Poney was the male.
Unknown
Don't think the one in kiddy has been counted out yet!! really worried over her, we just need more people to phone up with positive sightings.
MHale
Am I right in thinking the lead in Kidderminster is still live? It was a dog found at the Stewpony that was a male Collie with DY8 postcode??! Cheers.
carol
took Dog's trust Roden (telford) a poster (not seen her) and they have put one in the Dog's trust car incase she may of come this way , posted Hillbrae a poster just in case they turned towards Shrewsbury , Hearing dogs say they have done a media statement already , has she been seen kiddy way still , any more news? Last edited: 2011-03-02 11:59:55 by carol

Apparantly the other dog was caught by a man and was a male missing from DY8 area.
carol
just trying hillbrae but engaged at min for him , the lovely lady at Hearing dogs for deaf people has got back to me and has passed the info over to there charity's publicity who will see what they can do (she knows they did not train her ) also suggested www.animalhealingandcommunication.com/animal_communication.html , how is the owner holding up?
Roz
Do we know if owner is checking local pounds daily now as Soot has been missing a week, espec as Soot had no tag or chip.
carol
Has the owner tried Hillbrae shelter near Shrewsbury, shrops ? She takes in dogs when Dogs trust Roden are full , usually bigger dogs too , www.hilbrae.co.uk for details to ring
Luby
So sorry Soot has still not been found. Try taking poters to postal sorting offices as postmen cover a lot of ground and do keep an eye out if their aware of missing dogs. Hope this helps and Soot is soon back home safe and sound bless her!
Unknown
Maybe we could try a clairvoyant again, perhaps she may see more now of where she is.
carol
i am in shrewsbury i will put posters Sainsburys and petrol station on A5/A49 tomorrow , have emailed Hearing dogs for deaf people to c if they can help in anyway ( i know soot was trained by owner and said that)....fingers crossed i am new to this so is anywhere else a good idea ? i was thinking places where lots of people go x
doggroomer
There are other roads going off the road from Bridgnorth towards Kidderminster so they may not have gone through Stourton. Other turnoffs go towards Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Dudley, Broseley and a few other towns.
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
I am SO sorry this was not Soot. Is this other collie okay? Can anyone help him/her? I'd hate for this poor dog to be left out there alone. I am too far away to do anything. Secondly, I wonder if car thieves are too scared to let Soot go in your area - maybe they have driven her elsewhere? Can National TV pick up the story now? Could they ask that Soot be left safe and sound at a police station, RSPCA or somewhere, with no questions asked? Just to get Soot back safely. Thing is we need to be certain that wherever she goes is well aware that she is Soot. You are all doing a marvelous job; what wonderful people you are. Keep going. I am sure there are hundreds of us watching Soot's page. I am also glad that Soot's owner has so much support from you all - it would much harder without you.xLast edited: 2011-03-01 21:57:13 by Kimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders

Don't think car has been found. Not sure if it went left or right at Stourton.

Do u want posters up in Shrewsbury Shropshire if the dog found in Kidderminster was not soot ? Have the police managed to find the car anywhere to know which way it was heading ? I do hope she is found soon , i know monkhopton /morville area if they need searching used to live that way....could go tomorrow , let me know
Tazi
I have just joined having read the dog at stewpony was not her, how disappointing, have rang friends who i know in kinver to keep eye out for her,i live near bridgnorth where she went missing and have been looking in that area, i do hope she is found safe soon.
doggroomer
Sorry it wasn't Soot at the Stewpony. Just got back from a drive around Kidderminster but no sign of her. Show yourself Soot so we know where to look.
Unknown
Oh no!! I am quite shocked. Hope the other dog is ok though, it is very dangerous along that road. Maybe it is her in Kiddy, as they were headed that way. PLEASE can she be put in the paper and on the radio again. Sightings of her are crucial.
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
YES WE WILL! Absolutely amazing guys! 336 on facebook and 293 twitters.....Soot we will find you!
Spindle
The sighting at the Stewpony was definately NOT Soot. We now have it confirmed it was a similar collie but not her. Back to the drawing board. Possible sighting in Kidderminster but not 100%. Hundreds of posters now out for her. someone, somewhere knows where she is. Please call immediately if you can help. Doglost main number is 0844 800 3220. So dissapointing but we will carry on and find this girl.
MHale
Through K9 Search UK we are aware that a possible sightimg in Kidderminster, Highfield Road, by a postman, and then another contact, bit of a slim chance - cat food being eaten on the same road only last night / this morning! I have driven all around Kiddy and seen nothing, bumped into a couple of ladies doing the same. Keep up the good work everyone!
Roz
Have scoured Broadwaters and surrounding area this afternoon, and then Springfield park, where I met a lovely lady also looking for Soot. She had searched Hurcott too. Sadly no sign of Soot.

Thanks. Possible though from the direction she was in on Sunday.I'll make a few phone calls.Last edited: 2011-03-01 16:42:30 by doggroomer

Broadwaters area doggroomer, although the description of the dog there is rather sketchy.
doggroomer
Any idea which part of Kidderminster she was seen? I'm not too far away and also have quite a few customers there I could ring to keep an eye open.
Spindle
No more information at present, will keep site updated if I hear anything. Soot was not trained by the hearing dogs for deaf association, she was trained by her owner to do these things. thanks though.

I live in Kidder, will await further details, and be ready to go
DonnaB
Just a quick question, what colour, type of collar was she wearing?
Spindle
Possible sighting by postman this morning in the Kidderminster area. Will update more on here when I know more.
DonnaB
Heading over there later this afternoon again but can only do an hour or so today, will try different areas, Pedmore, Hagley etc...
danria
Been out for a few hours this morning, all I saw was a fox. Will catch a couple of hours sleep and head out with Maya later on. The traffic around there was building up rapidly from 6am onwards.
Mollychops
Come on Soot show yourself , your Dad needs you,its time to go home XX
DonnaB
Just spent the last few hours driving round but no sign of her i'm afraid. Covered Stourbridge ring road and surrounding streets, Swindon and surrounding areas but mainly the lanes to the north west of the A449/A458 junction, for example, Greensforge Lane, Great Checkhill, Ashwood Lower Lane etc.

2 or 3 people are continuing the search tonight and danria is going back first thing. DonnaB, thank you, we appreciate your help. You will need to contact owner to know where and when to search. We don't want too many people out at the same time as we don't want to frighten her.
Spindle
No further sightings since yesterday at midday. Owner been back there this morning. She may have moved on. More postering happening. Will update on her if anymore sightings come in.
Unknown
Where the Stew Poney pub, opposite there is a tea room. She was last seen in their garden at the back and also the houses next to it, their back gardens.
DonnaB
Can anyone please tell me which areas are being searched at the moment, where is the best place to go and look?
doggroomer
I've just got back too. Knocked on a few doors in the area and left a poster at a grooming parlour just up the road and a few through letterboxes. Local postman has also been given posters by someone.
danria
Arrived back 5 mins ago, sorry no sighting, but have placed posters at local garden centre, farm shop and supermarket. Hopefully some news may come through the leaflets and posters left in the area.
DonnaB
Spoke to owner this morning and will join the search later. Have just sent appeals (with owner's permission) to Smooth FM, BBC WM, Heart FM and Beacon radio to mention the search and the sightings on the radio, don't know whether they will...
Unknown
Went over this morning, had drive around and then went to the tea room at the back, but no sign of Soot.
DogLostOwl
I have advised owner on scenting & suggested the possibility of a fryup on picnic stove. Have also spoken with my friend Danria who is currently searching woodland and quarry at back of gardens assisted by her friendly GWP Maya.
Spindle
Radio Shropshire are covering Soot, putting out appeals for anyone that sees her to phone owner immediately.Last edited: 2011-02-28 09:38:00 by Spindle

Update 27.02.11 19.54 - Earlier today a lady approached the K9 stall at Shipley to say at approximately 12 noon she sighted a border collie running scared along the Kidderminster/Stourbridge Rd DY7, the one thing she noted was this dog didnt have typical collie markings an almost complete white face. We alerted the owner of Soot and they immediately went to the area. Within minutes of arriving they received a sighting from the near by tea rooms and after seeing a photo, they confirmed it was Soot.

We have had people out in the area distributing posters and assisting owner with the search. Unfortunately there was no sign of Soot and search today has been called off but it will resume at first light tomorrow.

Local media have been notified.

If you are in the DY7 area and can assist with postering or searching please contact admin@k9searchuk.com
Roz
Been trying to send emails to people and places in the area but Hotmail seems to playing up GRRR! Is anyone else noticing a problem or is it just me?? Computer says.....'no', well that web page has problem anyhow.
danria
Just leaving here to search area last seen, have put the word out to friends who live along the A449.

I hope Soot is home where he belongs soon ..wish i lived nearer to give a hand looking for him xx

Yes, I will go over asap in the morning
Roz
Liz, there's a tea room/coffee shop just yards from the Stewponey traffic lights/junction of A449 Wolvs-to-Kidder and the A458 Bridgnorth to Stourbridge road, so it sounds as if she might be heading towards Stourbridge. Will try and get over there in the morning too. Last edited: 2011-02-28 08:37:42 by Roz

ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland
i dont know which it would be but can the local radio station put out an alert to the effect that she is in the area and to keep an eye out for her along with the owners number?
Spindle
Owner out there now, if anyone sees Soot pleae telephone his mobile immediately. 07977 484497.

I can go out tomorrow morning and help, if she is not found tonight, or if owner is going out when it is dark tonight I can out as well. I will go to stourbridge town centre and then out to Kingswinford that way. Not sure where the coffee shop is. Liz xx
Shereen
100% confirmation that it is Soot, sighted at 12 noon at the coffee shop and then sighted in a garden on Stourbridge Rd.
Unknown
Wish I could get up there but I know the way to Merry Hill and then my friend usually takes me up to Kinver from there and we pass where the Stupony was (now flats) and I can't remember the way after Merry Hill. If they are struggling to catch her I will try and find the way. Hubby has sat nav and he is at work today.Last edited: 2011-02-27 16:03:12

Not a million miles away from Bridgnorth then, and certainly in the right area if the stolen vehicle was seen heading towards Kidderminster. Hoping and praying that this is Soot and she is safe and well. Fingers, paws and everything crossed here x

They are in Princes Risborough Buckinghamsire. I am sure they would help.
DogLostNina
Is there a Hearing Dog for the Deaf Assoc.or Trust that would or should be involved. I am sure if there is they would have enough clout to get the media involved.
Spindle
Rest assured Tigermouse Soots owner is working tirelessly to find his beloved dog. Lots of posters been put up and people made aware. If anyone has information that can help please phone doglost annonymously. Our Tel. No. is 0844 800 3220.
Tigermouse
I don't think the powers-that-be on that website have much sympathy for causes like this Nina, so any posts quickly get moved and nobody sees them. I see there's been no further comments on here yet so I presume no sightings of Soot - I do hope she's found safe and well soon, I'm keeping everything crossed for her safe return.
DogLostNina
Nice to see you posting on this site Tigermouse. You posted about Soot after I put his details on UK.....today in an effort to get more publicity. It has now been moved. Hopefully what we put will bring some much needed help.
Tigermouse
I'm too far away to be any help but I've posted Soot's details on the Hope Rescue forum as I know they have members in the Wales/Shropshire areas. Fingers crossed that Soot is found soon and reunited with her owner.
Mollychops

BBC south east have often been quick to respond to cases with stolen dogs when approached by doglost so i have sent an email to shropshire@bbc.co.uk asking if they would do something to help find this dog.
Unknown
Glad you have posted on here - hope we can help you. Sorry that Soot is missing, really hope she is found soon. I did send you an e-mail from missing pet forums.

I believe soot is a TRAINED HEARING DOG and is 8 years old. Maybe worth local radio for Kidderminster being asked if they will do a spot on this.Last edited: 2011-02-24 15:45:30
