  • Other Info This dog is an old lady with various obvious problems so no idea about under the surface. She needs to be home and cannot stay with ours as we don't want ours to get poorly. She craves company and is very friendly just looks unsightly. She has eaten and drank whilst with us but is clearly not with it at all. Poor girl.

This is not my area but spotted this page while looking for another. While pleased this dog (who apparently has no name) has been found, I am concerned that she has been returned to owners who may not have provided adequate care for her in the past. Are they going to do so in the future? Is there any way we can ensure that this lass gets the care she deserves? If the owners require help, then surely we can point them in the right direction. At 17-years-old, she needs all the help she can get.

I am so relieved this old lady has been reunited. xx

Thankg god. I was so worried about this old girl. She must be loved if she was wearing a coat and was reclaimed? Hopefully the owners will have been given the right advice and take this girl to a vets x

OH JUST COME HOME FROM WORK AND SO PLEASED SHE HAS BEEN REUNITED. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HER AND WAS GOING TO SUGGEST FOSTERING IF SHE WAS'NT CLAIMED. HOPE HER EYE WILL BE SORTED FOR HER. SHE OBVIOUSLY LOVES HER PEOPLE-BLESS HER.
Shereen
oh Bless her,as always that dog will love its owners unconditionally regardless of the state they have allowed her to get into.
Welcome home little lady.XXX

She was reunited with her owners today by the dog warden. She is 17 will leave it at that but have to say I am disgusted that they are not going to be reported the dog is suffering due to her ulcerated eye and sores all over poor lass

Oh that is so sad. As you say, someone must care about her if she is weraing a coat. Praying her owners come forward.

POOR GIRL. IF SHES WEARING A COAT SOMEONE MUST CARE ABOUT HER. MAYBE SHE HAS AN ELDERLY OWNER OR HAD BEEN DUMPED AND SO WAS DISORIENTATED. WONDER IF THE NEWSPAPER WOULD PUT HER PHOTO IN THE PAPER INCASE SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR HER. SHAME TO END HER DAYS BEING PTS. I LIVE IN WALES OR OTHERWISE WOULD OFFER HER A HOME. HOW OLD WOULD YOU SAY SHE IS?
Twibstix
Dog warden was informed on Friday when we found her but police refuse to take a report

Please note that this dog will be collected by the dog warden tomorrow. She will be taken to hampole mount pleasant kennels off the A1. It's a Doncaster number sorry I do not have it. She will be kept there for a week then will likely end up being pts.
