oh he has been on a real mission! He was picked up by the croydon dog warden(the only 1 of 5 boroughs I didn't contact!) and was on the verge of being pts, he was rescued by a rottie rescue as he is half rottie but was transferred to a boxer rescue as he has more boxer features, was then fostered to somewhere in wiltshire and went from wiltshire to a family in gloucestershire! The lady who finally adopted him thought he was to well looked after to be a stray so had a look on missing pets reg where we registered him and thats how she got my number, we drove down there yesterday and picked him up! Long story! We are so greatful to her as not alot of people would of bothered so happy we have him back thanks to everyone who offered their help x

hi deedee thanx for your comment, have tried foal farm they didn't know of any others apart from battersea, I spose thats the main one where most get taken. Tried sending an email to south london press but haven't recieved a reply, you wouldn't happen to know if there's a specific person I need to contact would you? Once again thankyou really appreciate your help x
deedee
Hi, have you tried foal farm they might have other rescue kennel details, also have you put an advert in the south london press, he is quite a stunning looking dog so he will stand out, good luck

Hi all, charlie has been missing nearly a month now, we are still doing all we can to find him, was just wondering if anyone knows of any other kennels or dog rescues around south london? We have already contacted battersea but just wondered if there was anywhere else he could possibly have been taken? Any help is greatly appreciated x

Just back from postering, have asked shopkeepers to put up posters in their windows. Have put in row of shops after homebase on Streatham Vale where the dog grooming shop is and also in Vale Vets.

Another helper has rung and he is going to put up some posters as well...thanks everyone!

Lisamarie thanks for offering to help. Doesn't look as if owner is posting on here so why don't you give them a call, I'm sure they will be very grateful.

Hi, Sorry to hear about Charlie going missing. Where/how did this happen, I am down the road from Streatham today, not sure what bit is Streatham Vale but if you can tell me the road where you lost him I am more than happy to head out and put up posters this morning. Hopefully he will come back to you soon!

Poster e mailed out to local helpers.

Owner has just confirmed he is a Boxer Cross so have changed breed above.
AlisonH
Photo now received but am unsure about the breed stated looks like a Mastiff cross to me. Have called and left a message for confirmation of breed.Last edited: 2010-09-15 15:10:07 by AlisonH

We are sorry to see CHARLIE is missing, we will do all we can to help you in your search. Can you upload photo/s or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 25108). You need to POSTER, POSTER, POSTER the area as much as possible, WE CANNOT EMPHASISE ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF POSTERING. Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). He may end up in kennels, dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW’s etc and if you have started postering. You can leave a comment in the Add a Comment box below other comments (you must be logged in). Good luck. Jan x
