The neighbour in question........does she/he privately own home? Or do they rent from a housing association or council? The witnesses statements should be looked at as it is an act of anti-social behaviour. Can you complain to a landlord? If the witnesses are willing to give statements I would go back to the police...insist on action....if not complain.

Two people saw lady being put into a car by a neighbour, police have not got enough evidence to prosecute, we still need desperatley to find her. Neighbour denies taking her and wont say were she is. Thanks every on e for still looking.

A new article in Weybridge Local people and still no positive sightings - followed up another sighting in new haw but it was a male staff.

Keep doing what you are doing Tach - the posters are everywhere and you are going further afield. Send reminders to those you emailed at the start so they know she is still missing. Keep following up any possible sightings and visiting Battersea and Windsor just in case xxx

Dreadful today, the police (well not the police an special) interviewed the lady that was seen putting lady in the car, and because she said it was a friends dog, they say they cant prove it was her so are dropping case, despite lady's ball being found by her car. I cant say any more because i am so angry.

Had a call, brown and white staffie girl with no collar and no chip handed in to Croydon Dog warden on Friday night so Ladys owner checking it out - email alerts are getting out there, keep spreading the word please

Still no news on Lady - PCSO went around and took statements including one from the neighbour who say Lady being put in a car and stolen. Someone knows where she is she is desperately missed

We have a bit of an update, a few neighbours have come forward now to say the woman in flats took her and put a red collar and lead on her and had dumped her somewhere further away. we are pressing the police but we still need to find lady, your help so far has been fantastic, thank you so much.

Just spoke to owner again, police are involved and crime number issued as someone must have taken lady from the house while owner was out. Any help sending Ladys poster out to as many rescues and vets as possible appreciated please. There is a reward offered for Lady's safe return. Her owner is devastated as Lady is normally her constant companion and support

Police are treating as break in as the door was left open and just Lady was gone. Owner very upset and out doing the rounds of all the vets etc with posters. Im going to check Millbrook and will speak to owner again later

Hi, I’m really sorry to hear that Lady is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
