maxgf, thanks for letting us know the brilliant news.  Thanks Angus for the text alert.  Very often dogs are being looked after by their finder and this is where the postering is so important, well done to the finder for taking the time to look after her and put found posters up.  Welcome home Purdey.  Jan x

She's home!
She was found a few metres from our house and thinking she was lost, somebody took her home and phoned the council. Although I reported her as missing to the police and the council a few hours later they had no record... Fortunately whilst putting a sign up in our local shop - i saw another sign saying that she'd been found. She was well looked after whilst she was gone.
We were very lucky she was found by good people.

Purdey appears to have crept out of  the door as guests were leaving a dinner party at her owners home. This is most out of character for her.Her owners were aware she had gone fairly quickly and  were out to search for her but no sign of her at all. Her chip is registered to  Belgium  and her owners have been advised to contact petlog for advice and also to re contact the dog warden to let them know this. They have contacted Springfield kennels and Mount Pleasant Kennels. I have advised that they must try and poster the area ASAP. Hoping to see this girl back with her owners very soon xx Pam
