Saw two grizzle Border Terriers running loose on the A4074 near the Roundabout on the Wallingford bypass bit. They ran straight from field on left into the area near pathway that leads near Blakes Petshop. Both were wearing red collars. My work Colleague only just missed hitting them - We both stopped our cars and tried to call them to us, but there weren't having any of it and assume they disappeared into the rapeseed field - they didn't respond to a dog whistle either. These fields would lead to Nuffield. Just hope that they are reovered soon before being injured. Will report the siting to my local vets too

Boddington has been added to DL Oxfordshire facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=108609242496957&ref=mf   its seems the dog sighted possibly wasnt Boddington as there is another BT in the area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I called Boddingtons owners yesterday to print me off some more posters so we can put them all back up again,I asked also for enough to post through every door in Nuffield which I have offered to do and to call me as soon as they are ready,But ive had no call as yet,I also called the council to make sure hes registered and to see if any dog of his discription has been brought in but nothing, the dog walker has registered him with all the  rescues in the area,so that is covered,my only thought is ,he may of gone off after a bitch on heat or somebody has taken him in without reporting it.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

spoke to  people who run golf course today and they are very keen to display posters and greenkeepers will keep eyes and ears open which is great also theres a small buisness unit up the road who are also keen for posters and now know about Boddington,it seems that it was some busy body going round taking posters down which isnt very nice as they left other posters up which were less important!!!,we will replace these and also try and organise a leaflet drop which im happy to do,just need to get them printed tho!! still no sightings of Boddington tho : (Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The dog walker took 3 working spaniels down to check holes today plus family and metal detector(for collar!) the dogs showed no interest around holes, they were there quite a while,I took one of my dogs up thisafternoon and just stood and listened around holes, ive put sardines out around the holes which we will keep doing ,I also walked up in the other direction and will also walk that way again tomorrow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Barney'n'Ozzies mum.   Dotty has gone missing around 25 miles away, i asked the dogwalker if she saw anyone that day and there were 3 female walkers who were following her quite a way behind, when she doubled bk to find Boddington is when she met them, they had'nt seen him tho, will look into a listening device and see what i come up with.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Is this anywhere near where Dotty 21904 has gone missing? Any "suspicious looking characters" in these areas at the moment?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

weve been out in the area where Boddington has gone missing, still no sign of him,we took the dog who lives with him out for scenting etc, there are so many badger sets around and the area he was last seen was right near one.The dog walker who was with him at the time has been out for hours and hours every day since ,we walked the whole walk they were on which is a wooded path surrounded by vast fields (so you can see for miles) its fenced all the way with stock fencing so he cant get through, checked to see if he was caught up, we will all go out and keep searching the area but i suspect hes gone to ground.i think if he hadnt hed find his way home by now as he lives so close to the area.Any advice???Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
