Hannah I'm delighted that Tadg has been found and back home safe.It is worrying regarding his chip.I do know some owners who have had their dogs chipped again because of this.  I suppose if 2 chips were ever picked up by a scanner as long as the details are kept updated ( ie change of address etc) they would still come back to you.   Welcome home TADG Helen xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hannah, fantastic news you have got your lovely boy back home with you, thanks for letting us know.  How lucky was he to have been found by a vet, hope Tadg was not too traumatised in the circumstances he was found.  It is worrying when dogs are chipped and they cannot be found.  Well done to the vet and welcome home Tadg great to see you going into the blue.  Hugs and kisses.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A vet found him and took him to her vets practice in Masham and his microchip is not reading!! Anyway word of mouth spread as he is back home safe and sound. Thank you so much for the posters and help you have given us and what a RESULT to be re-united with him!!! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOMOF MY HEART!! Hannah x

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
e mail from owner:   Hi,
Tadg went missing from our back field with our Whippet dog Brindle. They go off chasing rabbits, they have not done it for months and months now. On Boxing Day morning they went off and Brindle was found later that day at our Village shop. Tadg is normally not too far behind him but on this occasion he hasnt been seen since. Where they go up onto the moor there are alot of walkers, people visiting the area over Christmas. If anything we believe Tadg has been stolen as he is a very friends, good looking dog as he has grown up in this area all his life and would know how to get home. Please could you be so kind in amending the collar description as you can see from the photo I got it wrong it is white bones on a red collor. Tadg normally has long wirey hair but as you can see his coat is been clipped by me with horse clippers so it is very short at the moment but in time will grow back very long and wirey!!!!
Thank you so much for all your help so far. This website / organisation is a peace of mind we are doing all we can to find him.
