Brilliant news that Rosie is now HOME with her family.  Owner's were out postering and seen a girl outside a shop with Rosie on a lead.  Young girl said she was hers and when an older lady came out of the shop they owned up to the owners that they had found her on Monday.  Rosie had a new collar on (she did have a collar on with ID when she went missing).  She had not been reported to the DW as being FOUND.  Owner's showed them the posters they had of Rosie (who also obviously recognised them as she went mad and was happy to see them).  Well done to her owners for standing your ground and getting your girl back, brilliant that she was Chipped as if proof was needed it could be proved she was yours.  Good luck in your new home and wishing you a Brilliant Christmas and Happy New Year.  Welcome home Rosie.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner again now and mobile number added to the details. Rosie is a bit of an escape artist and scaled a 6 foot fence the day family moved into their new home, she was reunited via her chip when she was handed into a local vet.  Hopefully once the posters get circulated in the right places family will get the phone call they are waiting for.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Had a quick chat with owner as I am in work at the moment and will not be home until later.  Rosie is a Collie/Springer Cross, they have only moved into the area a week ago so she does not know the area.  Rosie escaped when the door had opened without the owner knowing, she ran off with their other older Springer who returned home.  Family are doing the right things and have contacted the relevant people, they have started postering the area.  The Chip Co have been informed and details updated to their new address.  If she is not home by this evening I?ll do various size posters etc.  Fingers crossed she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
