marshall... just wanted to thank you for the reunited pics - you have given a lot of hope to the owner of an OES who has been missing for a similar length of time in Italy - another sighting near her home has come in and she's read Kal's story and is fired up with the thought that her boy might well be home safe like Kal. xxx

And heres Lovely Kal,nicely settled in at home again after roaming for nearly a year!!!

Elejay...the owner worked so hard trying to gain trust again with a feeding station, then she sat there garadually getting closer and closer. Finally she made a grab for Kals collar which she still had on after all this time thankfully.Kal pannicked a bit but when she realised she couldnt get away, she just gave in and accepted the fact that she was caught at last!!!There are more lovey pictures of Kal on the Facebook page, copy and paste to you browser to see them....

I have been actively involved in helping to catch Kalunga since she went missing, traversing quite a wide area. We have now localised her to a feeding area which she frequents late at night. She is terrified of any human approach but we are devising a catch area (as she is too large for a normal dog trap) with the help of the very accomodating property owners who's garden she is feeding from. She is highly nervous of feeling enclosed, therefore we are taking it slowly in gaining her confidence to use a very large shed to access food - gradually moving the food closer. Fingers crossed it will just be a matter of time until she feels confident enough to feed from within and we can catch her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Excellent !! At last there has been a sighting. DO keep up feeding regularly in or near the garden last seen marshall. If she has found food there once, or even twice, she will definitely be back. GOOD LUCK !! xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Last seen in Poynings (near Devils Dyke) earlier this week but not seen since. Had been feeding from a garden in Poynings for a few days and we were hoping to trap her... Please can you bump her back towards the top of the list in case she has moved to another area? Thanks xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

e mail in admin:   I saw a dog yesterday Sunday that I feel could have been lost.
I live in Seaford,, East Sussex - in between Brighton & Eastbourne.
I couldnt stop the car but the dog was a large lightish brown - thin,
possibly a hunting dog of some sort - it had a pigeon in its mouth.
It loped off towards Seaford Town Centre.
I know I am late contacting you - I am sorry.
Perhaps this will help someone - it was dusk so I couldnt see if it
was male or female. Possibly male as quite tall.

Great there are more sightings. You now need to plot them all on a map with the times to see if a pattern emerges and you will be able to set up a feeding station. This is really positive news. I will send you scenting information. Well done ! Bump. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Another two sightings this morning!
In the national trust woodland at the bottom of Devil's Dyke near Poynings.
We couldn't find her, searched for hours but it's a big area and she could have gone in any direction and it was a few hours later by the time we got the info but have spread the word in the area.
Farmer said she looked in a really sorry state and was limping.
Thanks for all your messages and thanks Jane for spreading the word.

Well done !! posters are working. Another sighting ! message from owner who is working so hard;- We had another possible siting on Old Shoreham Road towards Boundary Road end, so spent all yesterday putting up posters and searching around there and leaving a scent trail back. Haven't heard anything today though but still nothing from the police or street cleaners so fingers crossed she is still ok and in the area.

I'm off to do some more postering and spraying now.

Photos received in admin and will be on shortly. More details in email :- She bolted out of our house (scared by fireworks) at about ten pm Saturday 31st of October. She ran down to Hove Seafront and then back up towards town when we lost sight of her.
She may have been sighted by a taxi driver in the Dyke Road area about half an hour later.
Thank you for your help and advice.
