Just chased up Network Rail for an answer. They have no record logged of any dogs bodies being found near Market Rasen so have advised owner to start up another poster campaign and widen his search.

Have received an email from owner and he mentioned that someone called him saying they had seen the bodies of 2 dogs near a railway line but when he went along to check there was no sign of them. I have called Network Rail and they are going to check and see if they have any details logged.

Have spoken to the owner and stressed the importance of a photo for recognition. He has promised to send one when he gets home. I have sent an email asking all of the questions Hazel and Sue mentioned and sent all the relevant info docs
