I'm delighted to see that Tim is safely back home !!!!! Glad he will be wearing his collar, but would be a good idea to get Tim microchipped too.   Welcome home little fella Helen xx    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

TIM HAS BEEN FOUND!!! Sent emails round all work inboxes......... gonna do the same in West Yorkshire Police employees tomoz and in the mean while the campers rang me and told me where they were and that they had Tim They had taken him to a local vet near them, which had said the scar on Tim's leg looked like a shackle mark, where he must have been tethered in a yard somewhere.  Therefore, they did not want to find Tims proper owners as they thought we were cruel etc.... I explained over the phone, how he got it, around a year ago and that i had paid over ?1000 in vet bills alone to save his leg, never mind the time and trips to the vets.......evenings, weekends etc.... They were very nice people and wanted to keep Tim, even though they actually did not want another dog.  But said he ws sooooo nice they were going to keep him. Lessons learnt.......... by all............................ gonna not let that little boy out of my sight and he will have to wear his collar all the time, apart from when working under direct supervision of me. THANK YOU to lost dog and esp. the lovely lady from west yorkshire who rang me twice and gave such good advice.  (sorry, i cant remember the name as i am writing this soooo fast and with such gleeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!   I would be hooured to make a donation and will do tomoz through the website....  (or Sunday night, which is my computer night.)   Good luck everyone else.  There is hope!!!!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rang owner again tonight....    contact has been made again with police. ~ There has been a little more info. Police have been to the camp site and seems the people  who are believed to taken Tim have been to the camp site before as were termed as "regulars" and are dog owners. Have stressed to owner to keep on with the police and ensure they follow this up     The camp site owners may let this slip so the police are the ones who need to keep following this up and the owners need to keep asking them to follow it up.   .  It would help if at least  we know the town or county these people are from -   they cant give out info due to Data Protection Ac ---   so that posters can be put up alerting them to the fact the owners are looking for him.  Owner has other contacts and will now use them.     Any helpers  if you can please print off a poster and take into your local police station please DO   !!!!  At the moment we dont know where these folks are from also cross post to any and all contacts you have.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Contacted owner. Tim was outside with their other dog when they got spooked by a thunderstorm  -  the other dog returned home later but Tim did not. The area is very rural, and owner said there has been a reported sighting of a dog( which matches Tims description) at a local campsite. It seems there were some people staying there who took him  -   said they were in the police..  No posters had been put up and as Tim isnt chipped and wasnt wearing a collar it sounds that these people may have taken him with them when they left .?????   Owner has spoken to the person at the campsite who said they would try make contact, but not sure if this has been done.  Advised owner to get lots of  posters up in the area andspread further afield .  Also try to get ad in the Craven Herald, Telegraph & Argus and Yorkshire Post . Suggested trying to get hold of the Chief Constable and ask if the info can be filtered through. Emailed info re Springfield Kennels, Oakenshaw and Fleet ( owner is aware of these already )    Fingers crossed someone will be alerted to the fact owner is looking for this boy  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
