There is a black Patterdale bitch found in Oxfordshire today, ID 24534, but I don't think it's Katie as the found bitch has a white mark on her chest

Have emailed owner with a possible match for Katie picked up by Newark and Sherwwod council.

E-mail from owner   Thank you for all of your support.  It is a great comfort to know so many people are looking out for Katie. I have printed off the flyers and posters that Hazel sent me and have stuck them up all over the place.  I have had friends bringing their terriers over and checking the holes around my house, but nothing as yet!

Have had a return email, and owner is very grateful for all the posters which she has put up everywhere. Katie and her family live in woodland area. Katie loves exploring all the rabbit holes and badger sets. She is very willful and after every walk, she always goes to check out the holes in the woods near the garden, so she is familiar with the area, and is often away for a couple of hours, but always comes back. She is very friendly and it is felt that someone has picked her up. She was originally a rescue dog, who landed in the rescue home after someone found her covered in mud with her eyes sealed up, where she had been digging.

Thank you zz - that is very good of you. Sorry, have not been on here today, and rather too late to call owner now, but have sent email with contact nos for Lincolnshire pounds and rescues, Rescue centres throughout East Anglia, and a general information sheet. Have also sent scenting guidelines with advice in the email on scenting and postering. Have also offered to receive a call, if owner would like to speak to someone tonight.
