Hes got a rough medium length coat which is all black apart from a greying muzzle. Hes wearing a black leather collar with silver studs.  I dont think hes intact no but when i call the dogs home tomorrow ill double check this. The only other distinguishable feature are his ears... they're very small.

picklepick - thank you for your reply. Can you give us a description of the dog then please? Rough idea of age - Coat type - Any white on him, or other distinguishing features - and is the dog entire do you know? It would really help to know these things. Thanks

yes ive spoken to the dog warden and hes been taken to manchester dogs home. im kicking myself because i didnt think to take his photo whilst he was with me! really wish i did now.

I found him at about 1.30 but this was nowhere near the M6. it cant possibly have been the same dog.
Heres hoping that poor dog has found his way home.

Hi, can you tell me what time this dog was found?, and how far from the M6 Junction 18 was this Collie found? I saw one today on the M6 running on junction 18's hard shoulder, just wanted to see it if was the same collie i saw. Hope he/she is ok!
