its so sad so many dogs either have out of date chip details, or chip isnt registered and dont have id tag on collar......... sometimes this is deliberate so owner cant be traced but so often they do have loving owners who cant be found

I was unable to get through to vets on the phone to check what was happening to this girl. (was on hold for quite a while.)

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
