Spoken to Molly's owner tonight and she is going to get a re-united picture of Molly for the site. She has settled back in really well but still needs to put on some weight. She will be chipped too ASAP.

Please check out the second picture of Molly as she was when found - after a bath of course - but barely recognisable. Just shows you that you should never give up looking. Your dog may be out there somewhere.Last edited: 2010-08-18 09:31:10 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

Absolutely fantastic !!! well done to finders, Sable and everyone else involved in getting this girl back to her owners. This story is very similar to another Westie called Saffie(ID 17068) who was stolen last year from South Yorkshire and was found wandering 90 miles from home 14 weeks later with a matted coat and covered in ticks. This girl was reunited via her chip so PLEASE get Molly chipped now ! Welcome home Molly and stay safe from now on xx Pam

This little Molly has been re-united with her owner after 17 months. She had been stolen, and had been found wandering recently. Picked up by a lovely couple who were determined to find her real owner. We checked through all the westies at Doglost and found Molly to be the nearest match. I put Molly's owner in touch with finder and - IT REALLY IS MOLLY . Molly's owners are just ecstatic and so am I.She still had the same collar on as the one she had when she went missing. We do know who stole her too. Please be aware that there are dog thieves all over the place and NEVER let your dog out of your sight. Also make sure your pet is microchipped.Last edited: 2010-08-17 14:26:58 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

I have just spoken with Molly's owners and despite heavy postering there has been no word of her at all. Posters are being pulled down regularly and her owners are having to replace them. Dog wardens and stray kennels have been informed.Hoping to see this lovely girl back home very soon xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Karen i am so sorry to see that Molly is missing and thankyou for registering her on this website. Please inform local dog wardens, vets and stray kennels. By law stray kennels only have to keep a dog for 7 days before they can rehome them or send them onto a rescue which can be anywhere in the country. So for this reason it is very important that you visit the stray kennels in person to be sure Molly is not there. If you are sure she was stolen inform the police and try to get a crime number from them. POSTER POSTER POSTER as much as you can to raise all the public awareness possible and hopefully someone will come forward with the information you need to get Molly home again. I hope she is home again very soon x PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry Molly is missing. Photo cropped and re-loaded to bring closer for the poster which can now be printed from Molly's page. You need to be logged in, and click on DOG POSTER 1 above the dogs details box on left hand side. Good Luck with finding her. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
