- Mega news. So pleased that Daisy has been reunited. It may be that she was chased out of her own territory by a more dominant cat, and that she was reluctant to move from the gardens. Stay close now pretty Daisy:-) xxx

- Message from Daisy's owner.....
UPDATE at 3pm in Friday 29 Oct 2021.
Absolutely wonderful news...a possible sighting by me out of our kitchen window across the road at lunchtime then led to a surprise doorbell rung and mobile phone call to say that our beloved Daisy appeared to have been spotted again, this time in the same garden's bush, but she was reluctant to emerge despite her vocal miaows. Many very kind neighbours gathered and, at 2.40, she was gently coaxed out and gathered until her Daddy's loving arms. She's now happily munching food and drinking water...she seems to be in good health (albeit a little slimmer...but then she has been a tad overweight!) and is now lovingly reunited with her sister and us all ππ₯°π»πΊ
Thank you so much to everyone who has been looking out for her...we are so very thankful to you all and are delighted to have her home with us again safe and well πΊπ»
Take care everyone and keep safe & well xx - 2021-10-25 17:46 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- Check all outbuildings including empty houses THOROUGHLY in case shut in Take numerous checks as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped; they are renowned for it.. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very small spaces about 2"/3") So has she managed to climb into an open window, and is now trapped Exiting can be difficult. It depends on the drop. Check trees, and any decking too. Place her YNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as her scent will be there. Put some tuna/sardines, or warm chicken in her dish, and call her. nightfall, or early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Wipe her scent on all your garden fences, doors too; anything leading up to the gardens. Take long walks around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding Daisy (Common problem) Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Is there a "Mr Big" (Dominant cat) in the area? The ginger cat maybe? As sometimes they will chase a less dominant cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until they think it `s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Post a LOST cat ad in a National newspaper in case she has climbed into a vehicle, which is not that uncommon for cats to do. Also when searching for Daisy use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis, as she will recognise the scent, and your the one she trusts. Also sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s catm, and try to hide it their house, but this is unusual, but keep vigilant just in case. Hope you will be reunite with Daisy very soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2021-10-24 20:50:49 by TrudielovesMax!

- From Daisy's owner....
An urgent appeal please for one of my dearest cats, Daisy, who has been missing since Wednesay morning 20th October from the Sebert Road/Darcy Close area of Moreton Hall in Bury St Edmunds. This is completely out of character for her. She was last seen in a neighbour's garage but was gently ushered out when they needed to go out.
Daisy is receiving daily medication and prescription food for long-term Cystitis and Urinary Tract Infections and is very prone to these recurring, especially when she is feeling stressed as has been the case recently due to a rather feisty ginger cat insisting on making unwelcome visits through the cat flap, so she urgently needs attention for these as well as much TLC from her very loving family.
Her twin sister Poppy is missing her greatly, as are her Mummy & Daddy of course, so we're appealing for her safe and speedy return home please.
Can you please look through your homes, gardens, garages and sheds to see if she's sought refuge with you.
Thank you so much in advance...and make thanks to all who have shared so far, it is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to continue to do so far and wide. - 2021-10-24 18:55 Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
