Thrilled to be moving Gerty to the blue.  These owners did not give up on her.  She went missing with another dog who returned along. It was in a large woods.  They kept going back day after day calling and looking. A worker told them there were drains in the woods they did not know of. Then 11 days after she went the owner looked down a drain and there she was all curled up in a ball, he really thought the worst. The drain was 4 feet deep.  He called her name and she stood up.  She was lifted out spent the night at the vets on a drip and came home to where she should be.  She is 14 and one very lucky dog.  Shows never give up on them.  Welcome home little Gerty.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
