Be happy little girl in your new home.  Caring for a blind dog is very rewarding.  Once they are familiar with their home environment they can lead a full and happy life, and be taken for walks on a lead.  A gentle canine companion is also helpful, as they seem to recognise the problem, and become "their guiding light".  Stay safe now little one - love and hugs to you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi mollychops - I can tell you do all you can for any animal. What a lovely kind person - but dont worry about this little one. Have just heard back that she has really fallen on her feet and has gone to a super foster home where she is getting all the care, love and attention she deserves. I will contact you anyway to let you know, in case you dont check back on here. Thank you so much for careing, and to the lovely dog warden and her new foster carer. Will switch to reunited now. Good luck little girl xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry my mum has decided she couldnt cope with  a blind dog. I tried my best but as she is 80 she deceided not to. She did feel bad though.I rescued a blind beddie from a very nasty situation last year and found a wonderful home for him.  I had nothing but admiration for him as he knew his way around once he got the feel of the place. He was so brave and stoic, he even enjoyed swimming he adored going in the river or sea on a long line!! Ive tried this number but having problems getting through, Yasa IM going to try my best to find this sweetie a home .  If you have heard any more would you mind giving me a call please 07887 717586Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

mollychops - we think she has been dumped so yes probably will desperately be needing a home. If she is not claimed, that would be absolutely wonderful if your Mum could offer her a home. Do please ring the dog wardens on the number shown and perhaps you can reserve her. It would make my day to see her settled - she is so sweet. Thank you xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
