- The problem is cats dislike change of any kind. They prefer scents familiar to them, and will try to find their way back to their normal territory. However please follow the relevant advice on WATSON CAT``s post. His page no.is 162959. You will find them by googling his name and page no. And ask family, friends, neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. If looking after someone`s cat, best for the owners to leave an object with their scent on, such as UNWASHED piece of clothing in the cats bed. such as a t shirt or soft jumper. It should give the cat much comfort.

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
