I noticed there is a big car boot sale every Sunday in a field between Hazlemere Crossroads and Amersham. Could be worth printing off lots of posters and putting them under car windscreens as they'll be lots of people from outside the area there. Does anyone know if there is still a car boot sale at Wycombe Wanderers football ground?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I went through Holmer Green yesterday but no sign of any travellers. Spoke to a very nice lady in the chemist there who happens to have connections with Labrador Rescue and knows about this site. She will keep a look out for Caramac and if sees/hears anything will post message on here.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I understand there are some travellers at Holmer Green at the moment - not a million miles from you.. I work in Amersham and will go home that way this afternoon just to have a "nosey" as I go past.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry, I keep thinking of other things after I hit the update button! Have you asked the Bucks Free Press to run a story about Caramac? I know the owner of Ammerslee Pet Shop at Flackwell Heath, who is also a dog groomer - I will ask her to display a poster. Would suggest you contact other dog groomers in the area to make them aware of her should she be taken to them.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just a thought - do you know roughly how old the child in the car was? Just wondered if it would be worth handing posters in to nearby schools/nurseries? You never know - the child might have told their friends about the new "addition" to their family.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Caramac's owner. I live in Loudwater and have only just become aware that Caramac is missing. Have you give posters to all the local vets, i.e. Temple End Surgery (High Wycombe and Flackwell Heath), crossroads Veterinary Care, Holtspur Vet clinic and Straid Vet Clinic (Beaconsfield), Brook End vet (Bourne End). I'd also see if High Wycombe Cricket Club and the Rugby Club would be prepared to display posters on their notice boards. I'll defienetely keep my eyes open on my travels.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Caramac
I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has logged on to find our baby, unfortunatly the police have closed the file (unless they find her). This has really knocked the wind out of us especially my daughter, as when I was pregnant Caramac used to snuggle under my belly. Hopefully she will be home soon. If you could still put posters up and keep your eyes open I would be so greatfull. My dad has lost his best friend XXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rang the original contact number to confirm date and it was the Police 0845 8505505 (Hycombe Police) have since been give Crime Ref No GH317273508 from owner, spoken to shellby (friend and neighbour) who put Caramac's details onto DL and have now put her telephone number down as contact, also updated the correct date.  Shellby is helping owners as they are not very good using the internet.  Owner has just rang me and now given us the Crime Number quoted above.  I've spoken to Area Co-ordinator.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry Caramac has been stolen, but thank you for registering on Doglost and uploading a photo. Your poster is available, and can be printed from your dogs page by selecting Dog Poster 1 . This will also be used by us and our helpers for cross matching any dogs that are found.  Please notify all dog wardens, police , animal shelters and vets, and leave us a comment with exactly where your dog has gone missing from, and the circumstances. To leave comments you must be logged in ( left hand side ?log in button)  and then once on your dogs page, click by the blue cross where it says ’add a comment’. We will do all we can to help. You need to poster widely immediately.  Everywhere people go. You need to make her too hot to handle. Make sure you poster all pubs and pub car parks, boot sales and markets as this is where many dogs are sold. Good luck and hope you have good news soon.  Stay safe Caramac until we find you x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
