this could easily be the case Brundog. Did it look like the photo above?

total long shot, but I met a husky today who was identical to this dog, believe it to be a bitch in the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh, just wonder if perhaps she has been found and sold on etc etc or perhaps stolen initially? it was standing with a man outside the shopping centre and was quite a hyper dog, although very friendly. didnt notice a tag or anything, just really weird as havent seen one for years and then meet one today and log on to this site and find a lost one.......

Just checking the dates - has this beautiful dog been missing since April? Owner can you give us any information on how she came to be missing ie lost on walk, stolen it may help with where to focus the search.

Have called Cardonald. This dog is not Alaska. It has been claimed last Tuesday and is a different colour from Alaska.Have contacted owner for an update and Alaska is still missing, sorry to report.

hi any dogs that are picked up in this area come to us at Whitehill kennels however we are full at the moment so all dogs are going to Langdyke in Kennoway.Have you tried there? Hope you have some good news soon. Fiona x

I hope this dog at Cardonald is Alaska. Please keep us updated.Surely there will not be too many Huskies there and as Alaska is chipped you have the best chance of getting her back.  Best wishes and good luck. x

So sorry Alaska has gone missing, but thank you for registering on Doglost. Please upload a photo a.s.a.p for the poster. If you cannot do that, please email one straight away to admin@doglost.co.uk. If all else fails a mobile phone photo can be received by contacting head office.
